Not my Fave

I used this product in conjunction with other PanOxyl skincare products to get the full experience. This moisturizer was fine, but honestly just not my favorite. Firstly, I didn’t care for the scent. I also found it kind of sticky and just didn’t love sleeping with it on my skin. Overall, it didn’t feel like it was absorbing into my skin, and instead just sitting like a mask on my face. In the mornings, when I got in the shower, I had to like rinse it off which was just odd. Lastly, despite it being the only part of the skincare routine that did NOT contain active ingredients like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, after putting it on following the clarifying exfoliant, I had light stinging. It was not painful or causing any further irritation so I dealt with it since it faded quickly but it was also odd. Overall, worked fine but just not my preference.

Not my preference

Goes on easily. A very little goes a very long way. While I’m sure it does it’s job, I didn’t like the tacky feeling on my skin. I does eventually dry up more over time, but takes awhile. Didn’t irritate my skin. Doesn’t rub off or leave any residue on the pillow.

It burns

I applied this to my face and was instantly overwhelmed with a strong chemical smell- like the paint aisle of Michaels craft stores. Then my skin began to burn and flushed slightly. There were no long term effects, and the redness did go away fairly quickly, but I will never be applying it to my skin again.

Moisturizer

Same with the other moisturizer. I find them to not really be as effective as I want them to be but again it’s still takes time for the full results to show so

Did not work on my skin

Panoxyl's moisturizers don't agree with my skin, including the PM Balancing Renewal Moisturizer. I think it's great that this includes SPF30 and can be used as a daily moisturizer, but for me it didn't work as I found the moisturizers irritated my skin and made it feel dry, tingly and slightly burned. This was one of the few times a product has done this for me as I wouldn't consider my skin to be sensitive, soI would recommend spot testing this product first to ensure there aren't any reactions.

Not a fan

I’m not entirely sure what in these products doesn’t work for my skin, especially because I don’t have sensitive skin, & very rarely have any reactions to products, and have used acne specific products in the past with no issues.

I stopped using other skincare products, wondering if they didn’t work well together, but unfortunately my skin still was red, felt tingly, dry & irritated when just using these products together.

I tried just using one of the products at the time to see if it was a specific one out of the 4.

As for both the moisturizers, these I was not a fan of. The smell of both is not pleasant, & they left my skin feeling dry. The oil control moisturizer didn’t leave a white cast which is a plus & it doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, which helps with oil control.

I’ve seen great reviews for these products, so I’m assuming my experience is more so from whatever didn’t work with my skin

I really could not stand the scent of the PM moisturizer, it wasn’t hydrating enough for a night time moisturizer.
Apart from it irritating my skin, it didn’t feel greasy or oily which is a plus

Left my face feeling sticky

The PM balancing renewal moisturizer I liked the liquid texture of if. It absorbs somewhat fast into your skin but it left mine feeling so sticky and it did not go away. Since this is a night time moisturizer I was sticking to my pillow. It also has a slight scent to it which I did not overly enjoy either. Which also did not go away. Overall I did not enjoy this product.

Too thick and stings

My initial experience with this product was less than pleasant. Upon application, I felt a stinging sensation which was quite discomforting. The scent too left a lot to be desired, it was not as appealing as I would have liked. The consistency of the moisturizer is also quite thick, which made it a bit challenging to evenly distribute across my skin. However, once fully absorbed, it did provide satisfactory moisture to my skin. Despite its shortcomings, it does serve its primary function of hydrating the skin quite well.

Not for sensitive skin

I found that it kinda stings when I apply the moisturizer. My combination sensitive skin didn’t like this much and had flaky and irritated skin after. It left my skin a bit sticky and red in some areas. I applied it only few times to see if it works better but I guess this one is not for me. It’s lightweight and absorbs well but I wasn’t a fan of the smell.

Not a fan of this moisturizer

I really was hoping to love this product, but it has a really weird scent that I just could not ignore. It also left my skin feeling kind of sticky which added to the unpleasantness.
