Okay Brightening Patches

I received a free sample of this product from Butterly. I tried the patch on a dark spot from a pimple and used 2 nights in a row. I saw some minor improvements, but nothing too major. I think you would have to use it a few days to actually see a big difference, but I didn't have enough patches to use it for a longer period of time. The patches are a good size though and you can even cut it in half if you have a smaller spot. They do blend nice on the skin and aren't too noticeable, only if you look close. The adherence is pretty good and stayed all night. I will say be careful where you put it, I put mine by my temple and it did pull out some hairs when I removed it which was a bit painful. But otherwise in the other areas I tried on my face was fine. I also tried it on a red pimple that was developing and I noticed it did reduce the inflammation a bit and again made it slightly less red. Overall they do seem to work slightly, but require using it for several days in a row to see a bigger impact so don't know if it is too worth it if you have a lot of spots.

Works well on blemishes

The patches are soft and apply well. I used them on older blemishes i had from acne. I've noticed a difference in the colour of my skin and it does look smoother now. They're also very discreet.

These just didn’t work for me

Have tried these a few times now but sadly they just won’t stay on. When they get damp, from sweat or a little water, they just peeled off. Probably won’t work well for oily skin, as I washed and patted dry and still had trouble originally applying

This product is simple and comfortable to use

I've used these patches for three nights now on two different types of dark spots: one is a hypertrophic scar, and the other is a dry dark patch left from a cystic zit.

After just one day, I noticed that the hypertrophic scar was no longer protruding and had flattened to match the rest of my skin. By the third day, I could see a noticeable difference in the color—it started as a dark brown and had lightened to a light beige.

For the dry dark patch from the cystic zit, after the first day, it was no longer dry or flaky, and the spot had lightened slightly. By the third day, it had blended almost seamlessly with the rest of my skin tone.

Overall, I think this is a fantastic product! It adheres really well, and I actually prefer the larger size of these patches compared to the usual smaller circular ones on the market. I'll definitely be repurchasing!
