Spot Patches don't quite live up to the hype

I was provided the PanOxyl PM Overnight Spot Patches for review. Having used the PanOxyl Creamy Acne Wash - 4% Benzoyl Peroxide, which I find very effective, I was hopeful for this product as well. However, I didn't notice any changes to my skin or blemishes after using the overnight spot patches. Everyone's skin is different, so results may vary, but for myself, because of this, I can't recommend this product.

Average Acne Spot Treatment

I enjoyed using these but I didn't find them more effective than similar brands. These are a little more pricey as well so I think I would just grab the cheaper ones.

Not for me

The breakouts I have on my skin are not meant for this product. My acne breakouts that I have are not large pimples or even noticeable pimples (white heads) for that matter. The breakouts on my face are just bumps that have dry pus in them but not something these patches were able to rid of.

Didn't Work For Me

I received a free sample of PanOxyl Overnight Spot Patches In exchange for a honest review. I had high hopes for these patches, but unfortunately the product just didn't deliver on its promise of clear skin. I applied the first clear, round, sticky patch at night as directed and noticed that they were unnoticeable on my pimple, which is a plus. When I woke up I removed the patch, and boy did it hurt! The adhesive on these patches is very strong. I noticed very very little change in my pimple that morning. It was still the same color and size, but it wasn't as raised so I guess some of the pus came out. I decided to try it the next night, on the same pimple. Again, when I peeled it off in the morning, it was still very sticky and caused some pain. At this time I noticed no change in my pimple and decided to discontinue using the patches. I have included the picture I took on the second morning, since I can only select one photo. You can see that the pimple on my neck is still there and quite red.

Did not meet expectations

I was very happy to receive these acne patches, as I have moderate acne and get pimples very often. I was hopeful that it would help clear out my acne faster. When I first tried the PanOxyl PM Overnight Spot Patches, I was quite disappointed, as when I took them out the next morning, it just made my spot bleed for a while. I tried them on different parts of my face, different looking spots, and i did not have the effect expected. I had some white heads peeking and it did not disappear the next morning. It helped making the pimple "ready to take out" but did not take any of it out by itself. I've tried it multiple times and yet have not found this product very helpful. Sometimes it didn't do anything. I don't know if it has to do with my skin type or acne severity, but for me it's just not working. It is though a great solution to avoid touching the spots, so for that I am happy with, but would not recommend the product as it didn't do much for me.

Not effective

I tired this several times on several different acne spots and they never worked. Every morning they left my skin red and irritated. I was really hoping they would work, but each time left me disappointed.

Works ok but rips off peach fuzz

These worked about as well as most blemish patches do (which is to say that most are about the same). My main issue with them was that they were painful to remove. They ripped off my peach fuzz. I’ve used a lot of different blemish patches and never had that happen before. I wouldn’t buy these.

Interesting product. Glad i was able to try it. Not sure it did anything honestly. Applied to a few larger blemishes overnight but didn't see much of an improvement.

No change in acne

I used the product a few days ago on a large zit. I then used the product again last night to see if it just needed to be doubled up on. It made no difference. I wouldn't bother using again

Déception

J'avais beaucoup d'attente pour ce produit, mais ne suis plutôt déçue. Facile d'utilisation, mais le résultat n'est pas vraiment au rendez-vous de mon côté.
