I received Pantene Pro-V Aqua Light Conditioning Shake for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, and I am so thankful for that!
I have long and curly hair, and I always blow dry my hair and make it more or less straight (not as a professional hair stylist but as much as I can). Of course, I always use conditioner, and here both Pantene Pro-V Shampoo and Conditioner made my hair so soft. So after washing my hair I tried Conditioning Shake to ease my blow drying process. I have to say that I was very happy, very satisfied with this product! It's amazing! I sprayed so little thinking what if, like other such kind of products, it made my hair sticky. But no! No stickiness, and on the contrary! I could finish my blow drying within about 10 minutes (!) (that's a record for me!), and after that my hair felt so soft. It was beautiful!
Sometimes I leave my hair curly, I don't blow dry (it depends on my modd). So some days ago I decided to try this shake on my wet hair without blow drying to see what would happen, how it would hold my style. I was totally surprised! It was so great, without any stickiness, or any heavy feelings as if you have "something" on your head (like from some kinds of mousses or sprays). My curls were so light! Oh, and the scent is amazing! I love that!
When I run out of this shake, I will definitely go and buy the one! And I will recommend all my friends to use this excellent product!

I have used other Pantene products in the past so I was expecting similar results with this line, but boy was I mistaken. I typically use the garnier leave in conditioner after I shower, but I have found it's replacement! This little miracle helps smooth my hair after I shower but more amazingly it does not weigh my hair down at all. It smells fantastic! I do not typically use heat styling tools, so I am not sure how this works as a heat protectant, but it works great as a leave in conditioner
I was excited when I got the opportunity to try out the Pantene Pro-V Aqua Light system. I have extremely long hair (past my hips) and it is a real pain to do anything with. I don't want to have to get up two hours early to have time to wash, dry, blow dry and style my hair, so most days I wash and condition and then try and brush out the tangles while it is still wet and french braid it so it isn't in the way at work.
After using the shampoo and condition, I spritzed a bit of this through my hair and it worked really well at getting the tangles out. I didn't use it as it was intended, however, as I didn't blow dry my hair, but I would use it just as a leave-in condition.

I got this product free from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, but this product confuses me. I have healthy hair that's pretty low maintenance and easily manageable (no split ends, frizz, etc), and I almost always sleep with wet hair (haven't blow dried my hair for almost a year). I also do not own (or use) curling or straightening irons.
To give this product a somewhat fair trial, I sprayed this product on my damp hair about a dozen times (after using the Aqua Light Shampoo and Conditioner) and attempted to blow dry my shoulder-length hair. The product has a really weird scent combination -- very chemical-y and yet also very fruity. I'm not sure what the product is supposed to do -- or even how it works on a chemical level -- but I didn't notice any difference when blow drying my hair. Maybe it's supposed to work much better for people with color-treated or damaged hair, but for me, nothing. (That's why this product confuses me.) Plus, how are we supposed to make sure the product is distributed evenly through out our hair if it's a spray? I suppose lotions may be too thick and noticeable, but I'm seriously quesitoning the effectiveness of this product. Buy this product at your own peril, and try not to expect too much from it.
I had the opportunity to try out this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Before using the Conditioning Shake, I washed and conditioned my hair with the Aqua Light Products. The shampoo and conditioner were enough to leave my hair feeling light and moisturized, but the conditioning shake was effective at de-tangling my hair. I do not generally blow dry or straighten my hair, but to test out this product I decided to blow dry. The results were not as great as other similar heat protective products, but still left my hair softer and less damaged than if I had not used a product at all. I will continue to use the shampoo and conditioner of the same line but will most likely be skipping the conditioning shake in the future.
I heat-style the heck out of my hair, so I was happy to try this spray for heat protection, and the bonus effect of de-tangling. First off, I didn't love the smell. I mean, it wasn't a bad smell. I just didn't like it as much as I did the shampoo. It totally works though, which is the most important part. I could totally tell a difference from when I used the spray and flat ironed, and when I didn't. My hair was noticeably softer and more shiny. Also, I wore my hair down on windy day, and my hair did not get completely knotted up! For me, that's amazing! I'll buy it for sure.

To be perfectly honest, I could care less about this product. If you are looking for a heat protectant, quality is key, and I do not believe that any product found at a pharmacy will do the job. The conditioning shake smells great, and was easy to apply, but at the end of the day, I would much prefer a product that thoroughly coats each strand (like an oil). When using heated, styling tools, it is just not worth the risk.
Thank you Chickadvisor for giving me the opportunity to review this product.
I absolutely love this product! I have been using it as a protective spray before heat styling as well as a quick refreshing spray when I need to quickly restyle my hair. Usually I just use water when I need to restyle but I like the fact that this product also provides some conditioning and now that the weather is getting warmer, it's a great option for adding a bit of moisture to my hair.
Overall, I would use it again since I use it as a three in one (for style protection, conditioning and for a hair touch up). Thank you for introducing me to this product!
I received this product to review from Chick Advisor and used it with the Shampoo and Conditioner. I am always looking for spray leave in conditioners for my daughters naturally curly hair as it helps with tangles and frizz. I have never saw this product in stores so I was excited to try it out. It works very well. Hair looks natural and is light and not greasy or heavy after applying....I have found that a lot of other leave ins make hair look greasy or flat and weigh down hair so this was fantastic. I do not blow dry my hair so I am not sure of how well the heat protection worked. The only con I could find was that you have to remember to shake it.....not sure how it would work if you forgot as you can see the seperation of the liquids before you shake it.
My experience was pretty good. Effectiveness of this heat protectionconditioning product was good as it added needed moisture to my hair without weighing it down. There was a slight alcohol sent but nothing overpowering. The quality was good however, you wouldn’t want to forget to shake this product.
Love the heat protection, and is great as part of a hair care system. I found using this product with the shampoo and conditioner is best, and would recommend this as a complete package.
