I do like this line of hair care... The colour preserve line smells really good and helps make my hair super silky, soft and it cleans well!

My hair cannot live without the greatness of Pantene's Color Perserve Products!My color and shine are amazing, and last for such a long time, before having to recolor!

I received the shampoo and conditioner samples from Vocal Point. I used them once and felt like my hair was lightly coated with a waxy residue, and couldn't style it as well as usual. My hair is thick, healthy and has lots of natural body, and after using the products it was a bit limp and difficult to style. The smell of the product was pleasant. The shampoo had a very thin lather, but felt silky on the hair. I was disappointed but not surprised at the waxy feel afterward (have had this with other Pantene products). I can't say if it really protects/extends the life of hair color, because I don't want to use this product on an ongoing basis, to avoid build-up. Sorry.

Also---I put in $6.99 which I found to be average retail of this product. I received a free small sample - so I didn't pay anything. I think this price is very high for a drugstore shampoo. Pantene really needs to lower their prices.
