Smelt and taste awful

I always try out my daughter's baby food before I give her any, and I remember this particular flavor because of how awful it was. Everything about it was unappealing from the looks, smell, and taste, especially taste, it was like canned fish. I threw it out instantly. Maybe my pouch had gone bad? Either way it totally turned me off of parents choice baby food.
