Love the brand, but didn’t work for my older hair!

➰I love the ingredients and the natural aspect of these wax strips, however, they weren’t particularly effective for me. I think it might have something to do with the texture and sparse nature of my hair.

This product was unfortunately a miss for me. No matter how I tried to make this product work, it just left majority of the hair behind. Wax strips don’t tend to work very often for my body hair and this was no exception. It may work for you if you have EXTREMELY fine hair

Good for touch ups.

These wax strips are very convenient but I found them to be too small in size. I also didn't like the plastic that they come on. It's too slippery and i would much rather use the strips that Parissa has in other kits. I found these to be slightly effective and take some of the hair off but really only for touch ups. I do like the soothing oil that comes with it. I like that it's a natural product and I do feel better about using that. I just would rather stick to the sugar and strips that Parissa has.

Still making my mind up

After my first use on my underarms, my opinion is a bit mixed on this product. While it worked fairly great on the first armpit, I ended up hesitating on the second and I'm not sure if I took too long to rip the strips off or overwarmed it or didn't rip fast enough, but most of the wax came off of the strip and remained attached to the hairs in the armpit. Needless too say, this was a big sticky mess and it took some time to remove all of the wax with the supplied oil as it does not come off in water.

This product comes with the different sized strips for different areas of the bikini and underarm areas. The medium strip was just the right length for both the upper and lower halves of my pits, but they weren't wide enough and so I may have to play around and cut some of the other strips to the right size to get what the other strip doesn't cover. Depending on the hair length, you may also have to trim it down to 1/2". I do like that this cream-based wax is natural and that the strips are biodegradable, but I will have to give these one more try before I can honestly make my mind up about them.

Convenient and easy to use for finer hairs

Although this product is very convenient in terms of application, I’m not too excited about the results. After applying onto my underarms, I still had some hairs left that I had to tweeze away. The strip is really 2 in one, if you use one, you need to use the other one as there is nowhere else to store it - you’re forced to use the strips in increments of two (or you can cut them in half). I also found the 3 sizes to be all small, as a hairier person, I would need a much larger size or else I’d be using the whole box! For perhaps finer haired individuals, it might work better. For myself, I did not get irritated with the wax and it was super easy to clean up with the accompanying minty oil.

It was alright

It was a good product overall. I just wasn't too impressed with the effectiveness of the product. I've used better brands before that worked better than this one. I used this and noticed after the first application, some hairs were still left. Not too happy about that. It worked better in some areas than others.

I wasn’t impressed by these waxing strips. The wax got stuck all over and the process was painful. It left my waxed area very sore and only removed some hair. Not for me

Not good for course hair

I wasn’t able to get hair off as easily as the photos and instructions say. The product isn’t strong or sticky enough to handle coarse hair. I would only recommend for light hair on mustache area.

Disappointed

I've tried waxing at home before with a generic strip and had no luck whatsoever so when I saw these I was very hopeful. Unfortunately, it just did not work for me. I tried it on my bikini area and my inner thigh and did not have much luck with it at all. There were definitely aspects I really loved about this kit but the fact that it just didn't get the hairs is the reason I have to give it 3 stars and not recommend it. Perhaps my hair was just too short, at about a quarter of an inch. I'm really not sure but I will definitely try again when my hair gets a little longer. Things I really like is that the kit comes with 3 different size strips that perfectly fit for the areas that are to be waxed. I like that each strip pulls apart and turns into 2 different strips. I love the oil that is included with this kit and it is actually amazing and works very well. The wax on the strip itself is very thin and I was able to easily warm it and get it to stick to my skin. I also noticed that once you have applied the strip and attempted hair removal it does not stick or grasp hair very well to make a second go at it with the same strip. However I did decide to use this strip on my upper lip area where the hair is much thinner and I had a much better result there. The reason I gave it a 3 is also because this is for bikini and underarm hair and not for the face so I scored it purely on if it worked in the bikini and underarm area for me.

Ouch

This was pretty painful mind you most waxing is however this was in comparison to actual waxing itself which seems less painful and grabbed onto the hair more.
