No strips is a win

Love the fact that no strips are needed and how easily it's removed. I do like that it heats up quickly on the stove, but a microwave option may be nice to, to reheat quickly.
The smell was great and the soothing after oil really helped with any redness or irritation after waxing.

Easy to use and gentle on the skin

This was my first time trying a wax product on my face, and I was a little nervous because I use a lot of skincare products. This wax was very gentle on my skin and easy to use, thankfully. It was effective in removing the peach fuzz from my face.

Effective Hot wax for Hair Removal

The hot wax container pot is warmed on the stove or hot plate. However it cannot be warmed on a gas stove as per the instructions. This is somewhat problematic if you don’t have a hot plate. Once the wax was warmed to the correct temperature, I found it very effective and easy to work with.

Excellent and painless hair removal

I received this for free in exchange for my honest review from @butterly and it amazing! I’ve never used an at home wax for hair removal and it worked so much better than tweezing that I usually do on my chin and upper lip hairs. It’s so easy to use and quick for the best results. I have zero irritation and the oil provided to soothe smells so nice. I love this product!

Didn't love the results

Didn't love the results of this product. I found it took a fair amount of time to prepare, though was easy to do so just time consuming. It also didn't really work so well and then was a bit of a pain to clean off. I didn't love the product and didn't find it worked that much.

Takes a bit of practice but works well!

I was nervous to try this out because I have had previous bad experiences with hot wax but was pleasantly surprised. I've tried it once so far and it took awhile to get the hang of but I am sure it will get easier with practice. I am happy with the results. I might just stick to my wax strips though because they are a bit simpler to use.

Parissa Wax Review

My overall experience with Parissa products has always been positive. I have been using their products for years! I was so happy to have the opportunity to try these two products that I have never used before and give my honesty opinion.

The Ultra Soothing Oil is a MUST for me now. It does an amazing job soothing the skin after you wax. It has instant cooling effects from the peppermint and smells so good it’s therapeutic!

The Face & Lip Hot Wax was an interesting one for me. I can’t stop thinking of the tin with the wax as a measuring cup. I heated a small pan on the stove top with the metal cup inside and to my surprise the wax heated very quickly. It did get very thing because it was too hot so I would suggest heating more gradually or letting it cook down to get that honey texture. Application was easy, zipping off was also easy (if you are used to waxing). Of course it stings but that depends on each persons tolerance and the help of the soothing oil.

All in all, would recommend these products! They make it easy for you to do this at home as affordable prices without having to go to the salon.

Great for at home waxing

Overall, this product is pretty good.
There's not much of a smell to the wax which is nice for anyone who has slight sensitivities.
The wax came in a metal, measuring cup type packing which is neat. It was a little harder to get the wax the correct consistency because of it but it was manageable and I just had to apply a second layer when applying in some areas for better removal.
I didn't really notice much a difference between this oriduct being natural and any other wax I've used (which isn't a bad thing, it works!). I've attached a photo of the before and after.

Great way to go smooth

Larissa has hit it out of the park with this one. Usually I react to wax but because it's natural no issues. Gentle and easy to use. Instructions were easy to follow. Would definitely buy again and keep using!

I usually made wax at home which was time consuming. This wax has made my life much easier. Because of the natural ingredients I didn’t felt any discomfort afterwards. And so glad that there are no harsh chemicals in it. The little pot goes a long way. After using let the remaining wax cool it off then cover properly and store it in its original packaging.
