Definite learning curve and patience required
This product is definitely less messy than other similar options (like those with the strips), but it nonetheless requires patience that I don't necessarily have. The wax tends to cool down pretty quickly, which means you have to work quickly (but also carefully, as this is for facial use - and I have sensitive skin, so I'm not wanting any burns). It got a lot of hair, but not all of it. I feel like I will keep the rest of this product for my underarms as I feel it may be more effective (and that area's also a bit more forgiving).
Not what I was expecting...
The package arrived with everything you would need plus full size oil which you apply after waxing to soothe and soften skin and prevent ingrown hair.
I had not tried wax on my face before; I am not sure what I was expecting but I found it to be really painful and it didn't remove all the hair so I would have to do the same area more than once. Maybe with a bit more use, my skin would get used to it
I did like how its natural ingredients which are made from sustainable sources. Parissa does not test on animals which is another big plus for me and it is made in Canada.
I was a bit worried that the metal container that holds the wax would get too hot to touch the handle while heating but it didn't.
Would I buy this product, it's a hard no for me but I may try some of the other products they have like the Brow Waxing Pen, Organic Sugar Wax or the strips
Nice
I thought this was a very cool product to receive. It doesn’t seem very environmentally friendly since it is single use. It worked good though. I wouldn’t buy again I don’t think
beyond safe
I was so afraid to use this because i have thin skin on my face and don't grow hair much elsewhere on my body, so it took me a while to begin but when I did i safely used it on my upper lip and eyebrows. I am glad to review that it did not rip off any skin or make my gace irritated. I would def use again. Thank you for including me in this review.
Great if you don’t have a gas stove
I was sent this kit courtesy of Parissa and Butterly for testing purposes. I have a gas stove so I did not feel comfortable warming the wax tin up on an open flame. I was unfortunately unable to test the wax.

Parissa
I received this product free for my honest opinion #40yearsofsmooth, #waxnaturally #parissawax #cleanbeauty and while it works beautifully with very little hair being left behind. The issue I have is the wax pot that has to be heated and then carried to where you are doing this procedure. Not ideal as it can spill on littles, animals, yourself or other surfaces ect. Still waiting for growth of hair to come in.
Good but not quick
I followed the directions for melting the wax, it took over an hour to get half melted. And it was hardened up again in maybe 2 min at most. So make sure you have lots of time to wait for it to melt and be ready to work fast.
It works really well though, it pulled out stubborn hairs and the fine ones that usually nothing gets. There was no typical sting or ripping feeling pulling off the wax and the oil cleared up anything still on the skin.
Great waxing kit for facial hair
I like that the kit includes everything that is needed to get a good wax, however, I'd have to say that warming it up, it was slightly inconvenient to heat it up using the double boiler method as opposed to the microwave. I found that using the wax was pretty effective at removing most hairs at a time, but sometimes there were several hairs being missed by the wax strip. I do want to mention that not requiring strips was nice as it was less wasteful and more sustainable, which is a plus in my books! I think that overall it is a decent product but I think that expanding the methods on how to heat it up would bring a larger audience to purchase and use the product more regularly.
Don’t like it
I was excited to try this product however I do not like that it basically comes in a metal measuring cup and heated up is dangerous. Wish you came in like a roll-on or something.
ok wax but not enough popsicle sticks
no i did not see a difference using a natural product because natural is just a buzzword and it’s use and meaning is not regulated at all so it does not make a difference whether something is natural or not since the word natural has no actual meaning .
yes it removes hair
