Parissa Face and lip hot wax

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I have used many different hair removal methods including different types of wax. This wax was a very good version of this hair removal type. It came in a cute little pot which should be placed on a warmer to melt. Instead of that I used the stove top which took a few minutes extra but worked okay. The wax formulation was very smooth, soft and glided onto the skin nicely. I like that it was a natural product and feel like the skin was less angry than usual during the waxing process. I used the provided sticks to apply but had to add some of my own sticks. I was sceptical since it does not use cloth strips but the wax hardened and pulled off EVERY single hair on my chin/cheek area. It is an extremely well made wax formula that stayed liquid for quite a while too and solidified on the skin and hair. Very effective product for short face hairs/upper lip areas. It also came with a vial of aftercare oil that I loved. The oil removed any pesky remains of wax and made the skin feel smooth, soft and moisturized. The only negative point was that I wish I used it with the separate wax warmer since it was a messy process to warm the pot of wax on the stove top and I am clumsy so it was easy to spill at that time but I managed!

A beeze to keep skin hair free

I thought it was very easy to use and it didn't take too long to make the wax soft enough to use safely on my face. As with all hot waxes be careful of overheating. Would buy more once I finish this one

Easy and convenient

I was curious how this product would compare to salon waxing and I was pleasantly surprised! I used it on my upper lip and was super easy to understand and use! Would recommend!

Easy to use!

I can’t say enough good things about this product! I’m just going to get right into the facts because I know that’s what you all want! I tried my eyebrows first which was probably a mistake as once I got the hang of it (just how the product applied on my skin and how to use it (I moved too slow and I let it get a little too hard on my first eyebrow and it nervously came off in pieces) and moved on to my upper lip things went much smoother/easier even still! I’m confident next go round will be a breeze. So ease of use is a short learning curve.
I have VERY sensitive skin and am always hesitant to try new products if they’re not natural as that seems to be one of my sensitivities so it was nice to try a product I didn’t have to worry about how my skin might react. My skin after the skin test Parissa recommends doing didn’t react. So I knew I was good to go. I also really like that there is no strips, I can’t stress this point enough at least for me as an at home waxer on occasion (I’ve been known to get them done as self care) but this took all the scary part out for me. Which was the main reason I’d go to the salon instead of doing it myself! Strips always make me nervous when doing my waxing at home as I’m always worried about the wax accidentally spreading to an area I didn’t intend on waxing & nobody wants to make a mistake while waxing their eyebrows something everyone can see and is hard to “cover up”. I was also super happy at how well the product worked, it even got all those little baby hairs- I should note the leaflet recommends the hair be at least 2mm long. I wish I had taken a picture of the wax strip afterwards to show all it got! I’ll definitely be purchasing the wax along with the ultra soothe oil again, also being natural and vegan I wasn’t worried about how my skin might react (I’ve had some bad experiences, it’s not a good look trust me). It felt nice going on and genuinely soothed my skin, I felt an immediate difference after putting it on.

Wax at home

I received Parissa Hot Wax Face & Lip No-Strip for free from @thisisbutterly in exchange of honest review. It is very easy to use. The instructions are pretty clear to follow. I heated the wax on my electric stovetop, placed foil underneath it to prevent a mess. It comes with wooden spatula to apply wax. Apply it on the skin when the wax is hot and honey like consistency and remove it when it is slightly set but still pliable. It removes all the hair in one go. The wax is gentle on the skin and leaves weeks of hair-free smoothness. I love the convenience of using it at home.

The Parissa Ultra Soothe Oil is so good to use as aftercare. It soothes skin post-wax and removes residual wax as well. It leaves skin feeling smooth. Just what your skin needs after a wax session. All in all great product to experience salon-like wax results at home.

Easy to use

Easy to use and warms fast. The kit comes with everything you need and is super easy to use. Heat this up on my coffee pot.. worked great, nice removal of upper lip hair.

Smooth and Fresh

It works I have used it once years ago and I didn’t like it then only for the reason I thought it wasn't the best having the loose wax in the little metal container didn’t do it for me I’d much prefer it in a wax warmer so no mess so when I received this I thought the same thing again but the wax is great works well it’s just messy I find but great product

#40yearsofsmooth, #waxnaturally #parissawax #cleanbeauty Not sure that this is for me. I found it messy. Very hard to work with. I had to bring my kettle to the bathroom to get the wax to melt. On the other hand it really made me hairless which I liked. The smell was nice and the oil that came it with it was soothing.
