I wish I had found this sooner, this has helped me with those stubborn ingrown hairs. I actually found since I’ve been using this I’m not having any issues right now. The tea tree soap smells like a day at the spa and it doesn’t dry out my skin, as a matter of fact it feels softer and smoother. I used this trio on my legs, which frequently get ingrown hairs. The Rescue Soap feels refreshing and soothing on the skin. The Konjac sponge starts off hard, but was actually quite soft after soaking up some water. It didn't feel abrasive at all, but did a fantastic job of exfoliating the dry skin on my legs. It left them feeling so smooth and soft. The Ultra Soothing Oil calmed any irritation from the exfoliating and didn't leave a greasy residue.

Really useful

I got the Parissa Ingrown rescue kit for free to try and review it from Butterly program. I was curious about the konjac sponge that looked a little harsh on the skin but once wet, it exfoliates really gently. The soap smells so great witht the tea tree essential oil and is made of safe ingredients. I can use it for shaving or after epilation to clean a little before using the sponge.

The oil that comes with the Parissa kit is packed in a little bottle - too little for me - since I would like to use more of it after hair removal. It’s a great way to remove all sticky zones after waxing or just to feel our skin so soft!

Great option

I’ve been using the soap and sponge for over a week now. The soap contains tea tree oil to purify pores as its lightweight lather cleanses and softens the skin. The sponge gently buffs away the dead skin cells. I think the product worked great at what it claims to do

Nicely rounded up kit

I shave and wax regularly, and for years now I've been getting ingrown hairs a lot, courtesy of dry skin. This Parissa Ingrown Rescue Kit contains everything I would need to care for my skin after shaving (or epilation), including a soap, an exfoliating sponge and a body oil. The soap contains pharmaceutical grade tea tree oil to cleans and kill bacteria which can cause redness and infection. The scent is pretty strong, and tea tree isn't my favourite essential oil, but the soap is gentle and works well, so I'll use it. The second step is a konjac sponge infused with finely ground walnut shells. I'm a big fan of exfoliation, and it's a step I can't skip because of how dry my skin is. I was a bit scared the sponge would be too harsh, but it isn't. The sponge itself is soft, and the walnut shells give the right amount or exfoliation without scraping the skin. This is my favourite part of the set. The last step is the soothing oil. The oil smells nice and sinks into the skin quite quickly. I love that the mini bottle has a spray applicator. However, it's tiny. I applied it on my legs once and it's more than half gone. Overall, it's nice to have everything in one set, but this is something that can be fairly easy to assemble on my own. I may buy it again because I loved the sponge and sometimes it's nice to have a full set when I'm too busy to build a routine on my own. Everything in the set is nice and I can recommend it.

The Ingrown Rescue Kit is a SAVIOUR! I used to get ingrown hairs all the time, after i started using this kit it improved so much, I use it every time I wax and a few times through out the week and its phenomenal!

Takes the fear out of shaving

I wish the only fear I had with shaving was a slight nick here and there. But no. Worse than that, is the dreaded ingrown hairs afterwards. Pretty much every time I shave my bikini area, afterwards I'm cursing my choice because the friction from my underwear undoubtedly causes painful bumps and ingrowns. With this kit, I have some hope. I've been using it for about a week and even though I still got a few ingrown hairs, they didn't KILL ME with pain. That's honestly a win to me. And if I keep using it, I suspect the skin exfoliation will help with any future bumps.

I love having the option of a gentle or vigorous exfoliation depending on which side of the Konjac Sponge you use. I found this to be perfect for my dry skin as it buffs away dead skin cells and is still gentle on my skin.

Their Ultra Soothe Oil is lightly scented and absorbs effortlessly leaving behind softer feeling skin. After using the 3 step kit my skin feels softer, smoother and I haven't experienced irritation from ingrown hairs after using this.

Was not effective for me

I tried this kit on my thighs, where I am most prone to ingrown hairs. While I like the ingredients in the soap and oil, I can't say I see a huge difference after using this kit. My skin looks like it in the same condition as before. I have found other exfoliating products more effective.
