I have tried these wax strips and they worked well, I used them on my underarms. I have since switched to using the Parissa Chamomile Body Sugar, it's a tub and lasts a lot longer. Strongly recommended, and works well if you follow their waxing tips.
Okay so love the product and it works great , legs are smooth and no residue left over ..
I have a couple gripes about the product though.
1) they need more of the solution wipes to removes the excess wax afterwards .
2) to be 100% effective u need to grow the hair to a uncomfortably long point , in other wards i tried the even for short hair version on my legs and it dident work well with short hair.
Despite those easy fixes i love the strips and even bought the warm wax as well :)
This was my first time waxing, so after many, many hours of research, I decided to try out this product. Parissa had generally positive reviews, and when I went to the drugstore, it just happened to be on sale!
Of course, I first did a patch test, and though it was painful, with a bit of redness afterwards, I didn't get any allergic reactions to it. (Btw, I got the wax strips for legs and body.) I did everything correct, and maybe it was just my pain tolerance level, but I couldn't use a full strip at a time. I had to cut it up into 4 sections, so that's why maybe I missed hairs and stuff, and I also had trouble waxing the back of my legs.
Let's just say that though it took a long time (long breaks and bouts of swearing after pulling off each strip), I was pretty happy with the results -- until I noticed hair growing back about a week after I waxed. I don't think my technique was wrong (against direction of hair and parallel to the skin), but maybe I just haven't mastered the cycle of hair growth on my legs.
But I think that after more practice, it should get better. The azulene oil included worked pretty well (there was WAY more oil included than needed), but I think that if you can, you should take some ibuprofen beforehand to lessen the pain. A bonus was that there was no godawful smell and that each strip could be used twice (no more, or else it wouldn't stick).
