Always have, always will use these
totally basic wax strips, super easy to use and super useful. I use these on my legs mainly and they're great- no mess, quick and easy to clean up. great for beginners as well.
Easy to use
I found that the strips were easy to use and was able to remove a lot of hair with each strip. My legs felt smooth after using. Even tried it on my Daughter's legs and it worked on her fine hairs, she could not believe how much hair it removed.
Smooth baby
I love the parissa wax strips. Well most. I found the ones that were plastic strips kinda sucked in my opion but I like the application process and using reusable cloth strips to remove.. and I find the grill.is better that way as well vs the plastic strip. But in love that it comes with oil to remove any excess wax. Define a brand I'd purchase over and over
Best on bikini area
The best product and only product I use on my bikini area. No more messy microwave waxes that end up leaving my hands sticky and my towels permanently left with wax spots. No burning waxes. These strips are easy to heat up but rubbing the strip in between the palm of my hands. I liked that these strips are clear so you can place them precisely where you want the waxed area to go. Place and gently rub in the direction of your hair and rip off. Sounds painful but this is the least painful and more affective way of hair removal for my use. Shaving irrates my skin, hot waxes are too messy and these strips are clean, convenient as you can take them anywhere and affective. Great value for a great product. I also love this brand for the legs and underarms. Great results with less pain.
This wax is strong! but sturdy
I absolutely hate making a trip to the salon just for my eyebrows so I've been sampling different at home wax sets. This is by far the best. No messy wax to microwave, then stir, then apply, etc...it's simply little strips of wax that you put wherever you want and pull. That simple. After having mine waxed by an "eyebrow specialist" and threaded, this is the least painful by far. I've seen reviews that say they are too small but I think they're just perfect. They are small enough so beginners won't make too much damage if they make a mistake. I went a full month without plucking just to see how these would work and they removed my thick hair with ease. The only suggestion is to not press down the strip too hard. I did on one pull and it left a tiny irritation. This wax is strong, you hardly have to put any pressure on the strip to remove the hair.
.
I got this at Walmart because there a sale on them and thought I would give it a try. I usually get veet wax strips and I love them so I was expecting the same quality in these . I was disappointed . This is because the wax is on a clear sheet which made it hard to use. It also did not remove much hair compare to other brands like veet.
Hit or Miss
My very first wax experience was with these Parissa legs and Body wax Strips. This must have been about 5+ years ago. I loved how the wax cleanly removed all the hairs and was surprised how little it hurt. I have stocked a few boxes that lasted quite a while since a whole 40 strip box lasts me almost a year. Recently I purchased a new box since my old ones finally ran out, and I swear that they have changed the formula. The texture and quality is completely different and there were at least 40% less wax on each strip. The new strips removed 4 hairs (literally) and left a sticky mess on my underarms. I messaged the company and they handled it professionally by sending me a new box. I assumed that it was a machine malfunction that affected a certain batch. The new strips were much better but not as good as my strips. I would still say give them a try, because all their other products have been great.
ow!
The quick and easy wax strips from Parissa work really great but they hurt just as much as traditional waxing. They are prepared strips which makes it super convenient but still... so painful. I was hapy to see that it didn't leave a lot of left over wax and residue on my legs but I don't think I could keep doing this myself.. to myself :( owww!
I used this awhile ago.. First time ever using at-home waxing strips and oh my gosh what a hilarious experience! I was warming the wax strips and I put it on my leg after I finally built the courage. I kept warming it up by rubbing it on my leg and when I finally had the nerve to rip it off... It sure worked! Afterward I text my friend and said " OMG WHY DO GIRLS DO THIS TO THEMSELVES! ".. I had to stop after the first strip because dang was it painful! I like the product although it left a bit of wax residue afterwards that was cleaned up with the oil it came with.. I want to try other products by Parissa but this one was a hit with a bit of a miss for me!
This has been our go to wax strip for years. I say we because my mom first introduced this particular brand to me and my sisters. She has been using this wax strip brand for years and honestly her hair has grown back way thinner and grows back a lot later since she has exclusively been waxing for years.
I love wax strips because it is a mess free solution and budget friendly. I find that these strips in particular work better when you are using one strip multiple times compared to other brands.
I also like how it comes with an oil and not just a few oily towelettes as sometimes I don't use up a full pack but always run out of the towelettes. The oil really lasts a long time and a little goes a long way
