Great toy!

This is such a cute little toy for my boys to play with - they loved the kinetic sand and the tools that came with it. It’s also a great bonus that the amount of sand perfectly fits in the toy container! My only complaint was the dogs’ paint was a bit chipped and damaged, however utility wise it’s a great toy and my kids had fun with it!

Creative Play for Paw Patrol Fans

What do you get when you combine the squishy, no-mess fun of Kinetic Sand and the beloved characters of Paw Patrol? Lots of fun! This kit combines familiar characters with sensory play and was a hit with my 4.5-year-old.

Paw Patrol spin-off

When we received this toy I was completely confused. I thought that Charger was supposed to be Rubble and they messed up the colours. Then I looked it up online and realized that this toy is from the Paw Patrol spin-off show called 'Rubble and Crew'. We didn't watch this show yet, so I wasn't surprised that my daughter didn't get too excited about this toy. The two pups are cute and well made, but I wish at least their heads could turn. The shovel and "toolbox" bucket work nicely, they're small but usable, but the wheel cutter is made too thick and doesn't cut too well. The amount of kinetic sand included is laughable, and it was lucky that we had more on hand. I would only recommend this toy if your child loves the spin-off show. For us, it wasn't that fun to play with, and my daughter gave up on it quickly. I was trying to decide between giving it three or four stars, but it's well made, so I went for four.

Cute toy

This was a cute toy and a fun way to introduce new characters from the new paw patrol. My child was totally geeked to get a chance to review this toy for free and give his honest opinion on it.
The characters that came in the kit were 2 new ones for him (charger & wheeler) so he was pleased right away with that, then the fact that this came with magic sand made him even more thrilled (me too, less mess). When he went to remove the magic sand from the container came in and It didn't really want to budge but finally came out in a clump. He attempted to use the shovel provided with the kit to dig in it and got a little frustrated as it was hard to dig up and had more of a playdough consistency. Normally magic sand is soft and it kind of pulls apart, but it wasn't the case with this one. It was really tough, even him pulling it with his hands seemed a little difficult.
Overall, I think the concept of the toy is really cute and my son did enjoy it for brief periods at a time. I feel if only the sand could be a little softer and more easier to play it would make a great toy and my son would enjoy longer periods of play with it.

Fun pretend play

Thank you @thisisbutterly @familyrated and @spinmaster for letting my daughter get her hands on this amazing Paw Patrol Rubble & Crew Charger & Wheeler Build-it Pack. It is a fun pretend play toy and my daughter used her imagination and built on her imagination using the kinetic sand and the characters. Both the characters are designed and built well and they look exactly as seen on television. My daughter loved playing with the kinetic sand and re-creating scenes from the Paw Patrol series. I love the storage box provided with the play set, it is a great add on to store the kinetic sand once play time is done. The tools provided to build are helpful and add a fun element in creating things as well as pretending to dig during a pretend rescue mission. What I would have loved would have been some more colors of kinetic sand added onto this play set as well as some moulds to create things that could be used as part of the pretend play. All in all my daughter had a great time playing with it and best part the sand is not messy as I expected it to be. It is easy to clean up and put back in the storage box.

Not too shabby for a kinetic sand toy

I was a bit weary when I saw it was kinetic sand... But it's way more firm than previous sand we've had! It's not sticky and it doesn't leave a residue.
It looks like paw patrol but isn't and fooled my kids. They're very engaged with it. I gave 4 stars because of the paw patrol wannabe BUT it really is a fun toy for kids. And I'm pleasantly surprised by the sand.
