Horrible

We got this couple nights ago and we were horrified to find bone and blood in it. This was found a few bites in and we instantly threw it out and called my friend who also had gotten it.My husband also got food poisoning from it. DONT GET IT.

Not quite 'authentic' but a pretty good version

Although this butter chicken isn't quite authentic in comparison to what we make at home in our Indian households, it has similar flavours. It is not overly spicy, but it is flavourful. I like that they separated out the rice from the curry, as I just prefer to eat the curry rather than an overwhelming amount of rice. Overall worth a try.

I swear something died in it

I used to love presidents choice butter chicken but not after today, not anymore, when I bought a little frozen box of it yesterday something wasn't right, I cooked it in the microwave today and there was a lot of hair in it, like a lot! there was also a lot blood in it, I thought maybe I was losing it so I took a bite but it didn't taste right, as I bit into a spoon full of the rice and butter chicken I had to spit it out cause there was a piece of bone in it! I'm sorry but I will NOT tolerate this

High quality for a frozen dinner

I eat a lot of frozen premade meals. There are some that are my go-to and this is one of them. If you eat frozen food you will know that frozen asian-style food is really hit or miss and this is a huge hit. I stock up on this when it goes on sale ($3.50 or less) as the normal price (roughly $5 at shoppers which is the only store in my small town that sells it) is a little steep for the serving size of a frozen meal in my opinion. It's got a good flavor and the rice is really great for frozen quality. I will say just so you know where I stand on spicy foods: I like very spicy foods, stuff that makes most people sweat or pant. I did not find this spicy in any way shape or form but other reviews said it is a tiny bit? If you like spicy food this is not spicy but I find it does not need spicy. It's perfect as is!

Not bad if on sale

Not bad if on sale but not the best either. Great for a quick meal once in awhile paired with garlic bread. The sauce isn't too overpowering which I like because I can't do too spicy. The rest of the family has to add more spice to it though. The rice always comes out great and not sticky compared to other products. I would probably purchase it more if it came in a larger family size though. I usually get the better butter chicken from MnM meat market though. I would purchase this product again when it's on sale only.

crowd pleaser

I'm all about convenience so if I find a delicious product I love that is also quick and easy . . what could be better? I love the PC frozen butter chicken when I need to get dinner on the table but don't have a ton of time to plan or make it. I pop it in the oven and the work is done for me. Everyone thinks it's delicious and there are rarely any leftovers

Good substitute to save money on take out

I have been searching high and low for butter chicken that I can make from home that rivals my favourite restaurant, and so far I have come up short.

I was excited to try this when I saw it on sale and I think it is great for a quick meal, but definitely not as good as my favourite take out. The rice was amazing and fragrant and the chicken was moist and tasty. The sauce was the perfect heat-level, but I found the seasoning a little one-dimensional.

Overall a great quick meal, I would probably buy it again if it was on sale for a work lunch or fast dinner one night.
