WILL BURN! Does not hold up to heat

I've had the OveGlove for 10 years now, it's gotten worn and dirty so I thought I'd try the PC one as it claimed the same specs like works up until 500 degrees.

Well, the first time I took out a cookie from an oven at 400 degrees I burnt my fingers immediately and almost dropped the pan. I don't feel it should be on the market clearly as it's dangerous. OveGlove wins.
