    Works great, smells awful.

This product works great, I'm already starting to see the dark spots slowly disappearing after only 4 uses. But there is a downside, the smell is absolutely horrible to the point I have to hold my breath. It could just be a scent sensitivity of mine, but it smells horrible none the less.

Strong AHA, more for spot treatment

This serum contains AHAs, alpha-arbutin, ascorbic acid, and kojic acid. I found this formula to be quite harsh when used over the entire face as I had lots of redness flareup and stinging. I like to use this as a spot treatment for areas of hyperpigmentation and areas in need of brightening. The formulation isn't too sticky, however, it does have a strong chemical smell due to the ascorbic acid. I found that my skin appeared brighter and skin texture improved with use. I haven't noticed much improvement with dark spots. The airless pump packaging takes a bit of patience to get the product out.

    Peace out dark spots cream

This serum, does not have any scent to it, a little disappointed about it. The color of the cream is almost a clear colour mixed with a little yellow, not what I expected. After using it for a week I have not noticed any difference. Will continue using to see if there is a noticeable difference. Was hoping for faster results

    Eh

It does show noticeable results however I think the smell is pretty bad! It feels nice on the skin and nourishes very well. Not super hydrating though

    Not sure it works

I received this product from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. Upon receiving this product the product comes in a cute package, it has a really bad smell. Not something I would expect from a face serum. I was only able to test out this product for a few days but to be honest I have not seen a difference and I use it morning and night. Maybe I will see results as I continue to use it. But as of right now, unless the product works good. I probably wouldn’t consider using this again, due to the smell of it, huge turn off.

    Not sure

I got this free to test out but the shipping these days is a little slow and I only had it a few days before my review was due and I haven’t noticed any change. What I have noticed it that it has a bit of a smell and it’s not particularly pleasant so it discouraged me from wanting to use it long term. Though if it works as I continue using it, I think I would put up with it since it’s not terribly strong and it fades away pretty quickly. It also makes my skin feel taught which I don’t know if it is an intended result or not but it’s uncomfortable to me.

Nice serum if you can get past the strong scent

I have to say that I was a bit skeptical with this product especially with all the failed products I’ve used to try to remove/fade my pesky dark spots and even resorting to laser that doesn’t always remove them.

The Peace Out Serum has an interesting ingredient list:
10% AHA’s- (Alpha-Hydroxy Acids)- These have been known to help improve skin texture, fade dark spots and reduce the visible signs of aging.
2% Tranexamic Acid- Acts as a brightening agent to reduce dark spots and improve hyperpigmentation.
Brightening Boosters like Kojic Acid and Alpha Arbutin

As the Serum contains AHA’s, that can increase sensitivity to UV damage, it’s important you apply sunscreen when you are using the product.

After a few uses, I have mixed feelings on this product. Some positives are the serum blends in really easily, and does a good job at hydrating and evening out the skin tone. Negatives are the scent. It does have a bit of a chemical scent to it that just seems to linger. If you are sensitive to strong scents, then you probably won’t like this product. As for the brightening of my dark spots, I haven’t really noticed any difference yet, but hopeful that after continued use I will see something.

    Not pleasant smell and burns

I like the texture of the serum and the fact that this is cruelty free, but the smell is not great and it burns a bit my skin. I guess I have to get used to it and keep trying to let my skin get used to it ? Also, I haven't tried it for long enough to see visible reduction of my dark spots. Been one week only, so will give it more time.

    Wanted to Love It…But

Originally I was so excited to try this serum, I’ve been wanting to make my age spots and other dark spots disappear but after a week still have not seen a difference in my skin.

To be honest I’m not a fan of the smell, it’s very strong and unpleasant and it lingers afterwards. After around 4 days I got use to the smell but I still don’t particularly like the smell.

This Serum went on smooth and easily. A little went a long way and absorbed into my skin very quickly. Not sure if it’s in my head but my skin kind of feels like it’s tingling after each use. In a way it kind of stings.

After a full week of use I haven’t seen a difference in my dark spots yet but I’m willing to keep trying.

I have cut down use to only once a day and only applying to the areas where I have dark spots to work on though. I don’t have sensitive skin whatsoever but after 2 days of use I started getting these odd little breakouts and redness around my nose and on my chin.

So it’s not my cup of tea, but it could be yours. Always give something a try yourself because everyone is different.

    Scent needs work

I was excited to try this product, but after reading all the warnings on the package, I was a little apprehensive.
I ended up using it once a day, typically at night.
I'm not a huge fan of the dispense mechanism, I thought it was broken the first time I used it, and sometimes when I use it, it shoots everywhere. I only use 1 pump each time I use it, because I didn't want to over do it.
I did find after a couple of days that my skin did seem somewhat brighter. Everything just seems more even when I am using this product.
Something that I'm having trouble with though is the scent of the serum. It almost smells like it has gone bad. And it is impossible not to smell it, because you are applying it to your face.
I want to keep using this to see the continued affects, but I'm having a lot of trouble getting over the smell.
I probably wouldn't buy this product in the future.
