90% OF CHICKS DIG IT
Received this as a Christmas gift this year, and find it very useful! It is great for smoothing out those rough feet, especially great for sandal season! Found this little 'egg' to be gentle to the skin, and I'm not scared of cutting myself.
I have only used it a few times, but would recommend getting this vs. other feet tools (I have used them and they can hurt!)
My only one complaint is sometimes some of the skin (sorry!) comes out of the blade holes as you are using it, which can be undesirable!
Well... I LOVE IT!!! I thought this was just another worthless product, but after I used it for 5 min. knew that this was surely NOT the case... My heels are literally smoother than they have ever been... even after a pedicure! And it's been 4 days now... still smooth!! For the amount of money it costs this is a STEAL!! Go buy one now! If you don't personally need it, buy it for you mom, sister, husband, anyone! But it does work!!
I usually don't buy infomercial products but this one caught my eye.
I have very dry skin and no matter what I've tried in the past, my feet are always scaly looking.
The Ped Egg is very safe to use. I use it when I'm sitting watching tv in my room and it takes no time to remove the dead skin. My feet now look great and I follow up with a foot cream to maintain the smoothness.
I do not dread summer and sandal wearing season any more!
On impulse I bought the PedEgg from Target on my way out the store. My feet have been so bad this winter - dry, scaly and everything else you can think of! Nothing seemed to be working - moisturizing, exfoliating - nothing short of peeling the thick scaly layers off myself. Gross! So I started using the PedEgg last night before a shower. Instructions and set up were easy though it's a little awkward "shaving" your feet when you can't really see what you're doing (the shavings will fall all over otherwise). After about ten minutes I had a nice pile of shaving in my egg and my feet are actually starting to feel better! I also used the emery board included and that seems to smooth down any rough edges the egg didn't get. Are my feet perfect? No, not even close - it's going to take a bit more than the PedEgg to fix them but I think they're MUCH better than they were. My biggest complaint about the PedEgg is - I'm not sure how long it will last before goinfg dull and I've read many complaints about shipping charges for replacements.
Bottom line: Worth every penny! Having tried too many foot products to count in the past, I was skeptical to say the least. However, after using the egg-shaped file, I was really impressed. The Ped Egg fits nicely into my hand and files rough spots quickly and easily. The only drawback that I could find was the shavings. Despite manufacturer claims, a fine dust seems to find its way out as you go along, so I would recommend using it over a bathtub or trash can. Don’t get me wrong: I still love my pedicures, but this product does a nice job of helping with in between maintenance.
I walk in flip flops everyday on this island and have to work extra hard to keep my feet nice, because it can get quite gnarly looking. Yes, I do get gnarly feet sometimes. I usually get a pedicure to get rid of the callouses since pumice stones and filers won't do the job....but this product will. My feet are a lot smoother and less rough since using this...the only downside is the gross foot shavings that are collected at the end. Yick. However, your feet will feel better and thank you for getting rid of all that crap!!
The PedEgg has been a Godsend for me! No matter how many lotions, scrubs, or pumice stones I use, I always have cracked and dry feet. The only time my feet have ever felt smooth has been right after getting a costly professional pedicure. I can honestly say that with the very first use, the PedEgg more than paid for itself by making my feet baby smooth and silky without the cost and inconvenience of a salon visit. It is also very efficient to use and is not messy at all. Massage your favorite lotion into your feet after use to feel especially pampered!
Though the main website for purchasing a PedEgg is the official site at pedegg.com, I have found them cheaper than the $9.99 price I paid at sites such as amazon.com and eBay.
