Pretty good primer

I received Peek Black Primer in my IPSY Glam Bag. This is the sample size of it. You can purchase the full size on the Peek beauty website for $22. This is the first time I have ever heard of a black primer for makeup. So, it was interesting to try. When I applied it with my finger it did not go on smoothly so, I tried it with a sponge applicator and it went on much more even. You don't need a whole lot on your eyelid. I use this primer when I'm doing a eye look that has jewel tone colors or darker colors. It really makes the color pop. It holds up good and my eye shadow doesn't crease and it lasts all day. I would recommend this primer and would purchase this once I've used this one up.

I just don't get it.

I have tried to like this primer. I tried it with lipsticks and shadow. I find it patchy and weird. I just can't get it to work for me. It's just an ashy black lip balm in a way. I wanted to give it away, but none of my friends want it. What even is this product at all. I love Peek beauty they have some amazing products, but this one is a hard pass for me.
