Not worth it

I hate the texture of this product. It's hard to spread and felt really sticky on my baby's skin. It didn't seem all that effective in preventing a rash, either.

the penaten baby cream face and body makes it feel like you have just rubbed oil all around the baby's body. i really dont recommend it since it cost's as much as other good quality baby face and body creams

I dislike this product very much. It's a pain to get out of the tin package and is hard to smooth on to the babies bum. It was not effective for us at all.

I stopped using this cream because I couldn't stand the little tin that it came it. It was hard to open with one hand (my other hand was on a squirmy baby), and I found it way to sticky. I went back to my go to after trying this (because I had heard good things).

Every mom I know raves about this stuff, so I tried it when my oldest had a dipaer rash. It seemed to make it even worse! Made her skin even more red and cause these little pimply things on her poor little bottom. :( It's thick, goopy, doesn't spread well and has an odd smell to it.

A lot of people would definitely disagree with me BUT this stuff is terrible. I have used it and it just cakes on the skin. To put this on a baby with diaper rash is agony for the child to get it off to clean. Doesn't come off too easily and it just makes for more chafing. I find it's much more soothing to use something else.

I find Penaten too thick and pasty, its almost as difficult to wipe it off as it is to wipe it on a crying red-bottomed baby... Yes, its a good barrier for poop, so I'd recommend it if your little one has the flu & pooping like a rocket, because Penaten in my opinion could withstand a tsunami! Disappointed in the lack of quality from such a well known brand...

I used this on my son and it didn't really help. It is very thick and doesn't even spread on the infected area

I always thought that this was the brand to use, but I will never use this product again! Apparently it is quite common for the zinc in it to cause skin irritation. I couldn't understand why my daughter's diaper rashes just kept getting worse every time I would use this product until I finally spoke to my doctor.
