Daffodil inspired scent!

Inspired by daffodils and yellow sunny florals, Penhaligon’s introduced the chypre scent of Ostara to the fragrance house in 2015. The iconic daffodil symbolises the revival of the spring in the British countryside and Ostara embodies everything that is spring in England.

Bergamot, juniper, red berries and Co2 open alongside currant buds and mint. Violet leaf absolute, aldehydes and green notes lead to a heart of daffodils, hyacinths, cyclamen and ylang-ylang combined with beeswax, hawthorn and hints of wisteria. Ostara’s sunny florals sit on a refreshing base of blond wood, styrax resin, benzoin, musk and amber.

Ostara is an orchestra in a bottle, which is music to our noses and smells just like a spring day!
