I fed this to my rats as a treat as well as my kittens. The texture is very stew like and you can actually see some of the ingredients right in front of your eyes. Th rats liked that they could actually pick up and eat whole peas out of the food. Although some cats who are particularly picky might not like the odd pea rolling about in their dish, none of my animals had any issues. My giving them Performatrin I know my animals are getting all Canadian made food of good quality ingredients.
