I recently switched my cat from regular discount cat food to both wet and dry performatrin brand foods, in order to maintain a better diet for him. While it is as expensive if not more than other "premium" brands, I doubt I will switch again because my cat is so happy with this new food! I usually will buy grain-free (my preference), and I find that one large (dog food size) can will last me about 3/4 days if I keep it resealed (with a top) in the fridge. I just take out what I need for that day, and leave it out to warm up or add a little hot water to it so its not fridge temp. For the dry food, I buy their largest size bag, and while again, it is expensive, it lasts me at least 3/4 months easily. This is my first cat so I can't say if this is good in comparison, but it works for me. I haven't done too much research about performatrin, but reading the back ingredients and nutrition guide, I am fairly confident that my cat is getting a good quality food, and he is always raring for more. Before I had switched to performatrin, I had concerns that my cat was dehydrated/experience nutrient deficiency from his food. I found that other less expensive foods start to spoil or good bad a lot faster than this does. Will continue to pamper my cat with food more expensive than mine!
I have 2 bullmastiffs and give them Performatrin Large Breed Adult food. I find that Performatrin is a great brand with healthy ingredients and not a ton of fillers!
Only brand I will feed my dog. Keeps his fur soft and healthy. Many different options for flavor. Good price. Does not give dirreha. My dog loves the food!
We only use Petformation cat food for our cat. We use the Petformation Ultra brand. It has natural ingredients, no fillers, and keeps our cat full. Her fur is the absolute softest. There are many different kinds to choose from. Our cat likes the duck flavor.
Great quality dog food for the price. Fed to our dogs they lived a healthy life. Great food for all stages.
Performatrin is a store-brand (found at PetValu) - and it's great value. It's not cheap but not the price of the premium foods either. And it's first ingredient is chicken - not a by-product. My cats love it... and foster cats I've given it to enjoy it as well so it's clearly yummy.
This is a staple in the diet for my kitties - though I feed them a mix of foods at all times. Having 50% of their meals be this food, I am free to supplement a changing variety of our other brands like Wellness, Natural Balance and EVO.
