Does as it says!

I've had my eye on this product for a while as I have to scoop from the birdseed bag multiple times to fill my bird feeder and frankly, it's annoying. Since I enjoy seeing the birds, but not cleaning up the mess or filling the feeders I wanted something to make it easier.

So does this make filling it easier? 100 percent yes. The only thing that's kind of strange is that you can lock the filler 'open', but not closed. This means after scooping out a large amount and carrying it to the feeder, you must be holding the square part (which opens or closes the flow of seed) closed. It's not difficult to hold it closed, but if you're clumsy or forgetful and let go, seed will spill everywhere. Yikes.

For that reason, I've removed a star. Given the cost (it ain't cheap!) I'd expect it to be able to be locked for carrying, making your job a bit easier. However, overall it's a good product which does what it claims, is easy to clean and use and makes the job quite a bit easier.
