My favorite nighttime and winter moisturizer!
I discovered Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Bright & Plump Moisturizer a few years ago, when I was looking for a more affordable alternative to Skinceuticals C E Ferulic Serum. I had received a sample of the serum, and loved it so much I immediately went online to purchase it, until I realized it cost $150 and I couldn't afford that. I really wanted to find something similar though, so I did a little research on the ingredients of the Skinceuticals serum. I found out that some of the key factors that make the serum so great, are the combination of Vitamins C and E and Ferulic Acid, the percentage of each ingredient in relation to each other (15% Vitamin C, 1% Vitamin E, and 0.5% Ferulic Acid), and the specific form of Vitamin C (L-ascorbic). I couldn't find any other product containing that specific formulation, but Peter Thomas Roth's moisturizer comes pretty close, and is "only" about $68. It contains all 3 ingredients, but has 10% Vitamin C, 3% Vitamin E, and 2% Ferulic Acid. It also contains the THD Ascorbate form of Vitamin C, not L-ascorbic. I have been super happy with the results though! I use it daily, as the last or 2nd to last step in my nighttime skincare routine. It's a little heavy for daytime use, except during winter. It has immediate and long-lasting benefits. It brightens my skin, evens my skin tone, moisturizes, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and plumps my skin. I always look like I slept 8 hours if I used this the night before! I highly recommend!
Gives the skin a radiant look while quenching the skin
By Peter Thomas Roth, this Vitamin C cream was the first cream to ever give me such radiant skin. I have dull, dry and dehydrated skin and this cream treats all three issues. It has 50x more power of Vitamin C than average and contains Ferulic Acid for those dark spots and Vitamin E as well. I really do love this cream and use it mostly at night.
