Philips Avent Bottle
I was so excited when I received these bottles in the mail! You can never have too many bottles when you have a baby, but you can have bottles that leak or are difficult to clean, or ones that your baby simply doesn’t like. My baby loves these bottles, I love these bottles because they’re so simple to put together and take apart to clean. We are just beginning to transition from smaller bottles to this size as well! Would recommend these bottles to everyone with a young baby.
Best Bottle for Mom and Baby!
I started bottlefeeding with glass bottles. The bottles were alright until my baby became colicky. If your baby has colic, you’ll do anything you can to ease the pain for your baby. Also, glass bottles are heavy. After changing to Phillips Avent bottles, it was less weight to hold and less gas for baby. It’s a great design! Fits perfectly in my hand and it’s light enough for the baby to hold as well. The no drip tip makes things much less messy. The baby is just learning how to drink, we don’t need to make a mess while doing it! Feeding a baby solids is messy enough! If I had to do it all over, I would’ve started with these bottles!
Baby loves them!
I love these bottles because they’re easy to clean and sterilize & my son loves them too. They’re easy for him to hold himself and they hold enough milk for a growing boy.
All of my bottles for all 3 kids is from Phillips
I have a 5 year old and newborn twins, everyone uses Phillips avent bottles. The new natural bottle is similar to their older styles, but has a much more fluid controlling #1 nipple. We quickly realized the flow is different then their old styles and that a old style #1 nipple is like a #3 new style nipple.
All of this is fine, my twins do great on it. I have 20 small bottles and over a dozen large bottles so I can get through the full day with no washing. I also have 2 Phillips avent sterlizers (older style with no dry function.)
My only complaint is that the new bottle measurements is tiny and in GREY. Nearly makes it impossible to see if you put the bottle on any dark surface, it’s impossible to see without a flashlight in a dimly lit room. This is a design flaw of probably someone that never had babies and don’t know how many hours you spend in a dimly dark room feeding and putting babies to sleep. Their old bottles had thick blue lines and drops which was much easier to see. I know we like neutral colours these days but really, grey numbering on a bottle makes it nearly invisible on any surface that isn’t white. The bottles are still the same quality as in the past and ergonomic and easy to hold. I would know, I have to feed 2 babies at the same time.
