Want smooth and silky skin - you’ve got to try

I’ve tried many epilators but nothing has ever come close to this - literally pulled out each and every hair off my legs, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to shaving or waxing after using this

This bad boy is so powerful but extra gentle on the skin. The ceramic tweezers make it so easy to cover full areas in just few minutes. Efficient, Effective and Gentle on the Skin

I am very happy with the Philips Epilator 8000. This waterproof device is a magical product. It is my first time using it and I am quite impressed with the quality. I think this is a great epilator for beginners considering it was also my first time using it as well. After use on my legs, I found it to be gentle on the skin. I really like the ceramic tweezers which I found gives a very comfortable epilation. I was not sure about the level of pain before use but I am glad in my case of personally using it, I did not experience pain. I did not have to put any pressure on the product to the skin and I was able to use it gently without any discomfort, pain or skin irritation. The attachments were easy to put on and detach. I like that this device came with multiple attachments and accessories to use on different areas of the body. The shape of the handle is very comfortable to hold and not at all slippery. Another great handy feature is the LED light which really help me spot fine hair. The manual on how to use the epilator, accessories information and important safety instructions is very easy to understand. I always wait for the device to finish charging and unplug before I use it. There is a yellow label on the cord which also shows not to use the device when plugged in which is a great reminder for consumers who are new to using this device. After using the epilator on the legs, it still feels very smooth and silky and it has been a couple of days since I last used it. Thank you Philips for creating this amazing device!

Must need if you don't want to keep shaving!

I am someone who HATES to shave because of how long it takes, and how quickly the hair grows back! So I decided to test this epilator out, and let me tell you, my life has changed. I can go WAY longer without shaving, and my skin is so smooth. It does hurt a bit the first time, but the second time was much better! Beauty is pain LOL.

Painful yet promising.

Let’s be real: the Philips Epilator Series 8000 packs a punch on the first use, and it was quite painful. I could only handle small sections at a time. If you're accustomed to waxing, it might not be as painful. However, I've read that the discomfort decreases with continued use. While the initial discomfort is significant, moving slowly helps. The device promises smooth skin for up to 4 weeks, and although I noticed some red spots where the hairs were pulled, they went away relatively quickly and my skin is silky smooth.

I'm committed to sticking with it to see if the pain lessens over time and if the results really last 4 weeks. If you're prepared for some initial discomfort and looking for long-lasting smooth skin, this epilator might be worth a try.

Prior to using this, I had never used an epilator. Being part werewolf I’m very familiar with waxing, IPL and shaving but have been interested in trying epilation.

My experience: I’m glad to say that it has worked well on the areas (arm and leg)I have used it - it feels like a mild pinching/tweezing of the hairs and although mildly uncomfortable it is very bearable and removes the hair completely from the root.

Afterwards my skin was mildly red but it did not last long.

This is really a great device in that not only is it an epilator but it also comes with 2 shaving heads (regular and bikini).
It is rechargeable and can be used wet or dry.

I’m very, very happy with this epilator and would absolutely recommend it.

First time I use an epilator...

This is the first time I use an electrical epilator and I wasn't sure what to expect.
This isn't completely pain free, there is a bit of a sting but it was expected as the hair is being pulled out. I think it is less painful than tweezers and it is quick and easy!! I did try it under my arms and it was a bit more painful than the legs. But, I do have thick coarse hair in my underarms which is why I prefer using the epilator even if it is a bit more painful. I applied the cold compresses afterwards and it helped immensely. I love that it comes with a shaving head & trimming comb so if I ever want to shave instead I can. I also love that it comes with a trimmer head & comb for my bikini area. This is going to be the only tool I use/need to remove my hair and I love it. I love how smooth my legs feel and they look better than when I shave. I'm personally a very hairy person and my hair grows back so rapidly so I'm very excited about being hair free for a longer period of time. I personally love it and will be using it.

I did not expect I’ll be this impressed with the Philips epilator 8000! My skin felts so smooth when I was done. I wish I discovered it sooner because this tool would have saved me the hundreds of dollars I spend getting a wax. 10/10 recommendation.

You can use this on your bikini line but I don’t think you’d be able to use this in your Brazilian area.
