pain free hair removal
I can use this on the go and finish my hair removal effortlessly, with no pain at all. It's super easy to clean, and I usually prefer the dry option, which is quiet and efficient.
Overall a good epilator
This was my first time ever using an epilator and it was an interesting experience. Since I had never used one before, I didn’t know what to expect. The epilator itself is very easy to use, the different heads go on to the device with ease and it’s simple to power on and off so there is not much of a learning curve.
When I ran it over my leg hairs it did successfully take out a majority of them, some were not grabbed by the machine head since they were probably too short. I’m interested to see how long my hair takes to grow in those areas since I’m a very hairy person. If it takes 4 weeks to pop up again I’ll be very impressed!
I will say I did not like the sensation of the epilator plucking out the hair. It’s not the worst thing in the world but it feels like a bunch of mini tweezers plucking out your hair at once so it is a little painful. As a shaving girly I will probably stick to shaving for the convenience and ease of it but if this epilator keeps my hair away for longer, I will be using it from time to time.
Speedy hair removal!
I recently started using the Philips Epilator Series 8000, and it’s been a game-changer for my hair removal routine. As someone who’s very self-conscious about the hair on my arms, I regularly self-wax, but this epilator has completely won me over. It’s faster and cleaner to use, with no sticky mess to deal with.
The epilation process was a bit more painful than waxing, but not by much. I experimented on different parts of my body and found that my legs were more sensitive while my armpits were not. It really does depend on your pain tolerance, and each person’s experience will vary. Despite the initial discomfort, I found the results to be well worth it.
The shaver and trimmers worked as expected, delivering smooth and precise results. I also love that all the attachments can be used on wet or dry skin, adding to the convenience. The Series 8000 makes hair removal a breeze, whether you’re in the shower or just need a quick touch-up.
What sets this epilator apart are the additional attachments that come with it. The exfoliating glove is fantastic for prepping your skin before epilation, ensuring a smoother finish and helping to prevent ingrown hairs. The contact cap provides a more comfortable and closer epilation, perfect for larger areas like the arms and legs. The delicate cap is a lifesaver for more sensitive areas, offering a gentler touch that’s ideal for underarms and bikini lines.
Another major plus is that these attachments are reusable, which means you’ll save money in the long run compared to regular waxing sessions or disposable razors. It’s an investment that pays off with every use.
If you’re looking for a versatile and efficient hair removal tool, the Philips Epilator Series 8000 is definitely worth trying. It’s become an essential part of my routine, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a more convenient and cost-effective alternative to waxing.
A MUST HAVE!
This is quite impressive! All you need for hair removal is already in this kit! I love all the attachments and I can really see a difference while using the this. I also love that the device has a built in light, its so convenient.
Smooth and comforting
I really liked the experience. It was easy to use and smooth on skin. I didn't feel any itchiness or redness so I'd definitely recommend it to try, its a great product.
Smooth girl summer: activated! ☑️
This bad boy is so powerful but extra gentle on the skin. The ceramic tweezers make it so easy to cover full areas in just few minutes. I love that it comes with different heads and accessories for various uses to provide the most comfortable experience wet or dry, (uh, yes please)! There is no going back!
Painful yet promising.
Let’s be real: the Philips Epilator Series 8000 packs a punch on the first use, and it was quite painful. I could only handle small sections at a time. If you're accustomed to waxing, it might not be as painful. However, I've read that the discomfort decreases with continued use. While the initial discomfort is significant, moving slowly helps. The device promises smooth skin for up to 4 weeks, and although I noticed some red spots where the hairs were pulled, they went away relatively quickly and my skin is silky smooth.
I'm committed to sticking with it to see if the pain lessens over time and if the results really last 4 weeks. If you're prepared for some initial discomfort and looking for long-lasting smooth skin, this epilator might be worth a try.
