Perfect For Unclogging My Stuffy Nose and Helping Dry Skin!

Our weather is generally dry from fall through Winter, causing my skin to dry out. As soon as our Air Conditioning goes on for the summer, the house dries up like a prune, causing me to wake up stuffed up and hacking like a smoker (I don't smoke or hang out in smoky areas).

A humidifier is a must, but our old one was dyng a slow death and really wasn't effective. This humidifier is like a space odyssey compared to our old on/off modes old school humidifier!

Plus it looks modern and sleek, so doesn't really stand out too much in our bedroom.

I fill it in the morning, and turn it on after dinner so our bedroom is dust and allergen free, and the room isn't stark and dry by the time we go to bed, so it's always on Quiet mode for an 8 hour cycle, so it doesn't get too uncomfortable overnight. I haven't woken up like a drippy mess yet! I do find that when it is humid outside, the machine automatically senses this, and hangs back a bit, providing less humidity to the air, keeping our room pleasant and temperature stable.

It doesn't add heat to our room, as it doesn't actually have a heating plate - which also means, while crud won't build up in the machine.

Since setting up the humidifier, I have also noticed that there is less dust on our lovely dark furniture, so I don't have to clean as much - I feel this is worth the price point alone!

I have not seen a huge increase in our Hydro bill since using this machine either, so it doesn't draw an excessive amount of power while in use.

So overall, if you really have issues with dryness in your home, wake up with a stuffed up nose or hoarse voice, or have excessively dry skin, you will definitely benefit from this humidifier - it's not your 1980's old school humidifier!
