This product gave me the worst rash/allergic reaction I've ever experienced from any product in my life. I used it once, a small sample that I got at Sephora. I am still recovering from the bumps days later.
If you sensitive, I would be weary of this product. I very rarely break out from products and never this bad. You've been warned, I'd hate to see this happen to someone else.
This product does not smell good at all...and I really expect my products to smell nice or be unscented completely. Did not find this product was very effective and I would not purchase it again! For the price...I do not think it is worth it...
I did not have a good experience with this cream. It is strong smelling, but not offensive. It is way too thick and rich to be used as a daily moisturizer and would be better suited for a night cream. It also lacks SPF that I look for in my daily moisturizers. The biggest issue I had was that it caused my skin to sting and I am not prone to sensitive skin. I had to discontinue use as it caused redness and stinging.
I have read and heard so much about this cream, so I decided to give it a try...
Right from the beginning I was put off by the thick, awkward texture. Usually I prefer light creams that get absorbed fast and don't interfere with my make up application later. I tried it and my fears came came true. It takes forever to sink in, feels heavy and greasy and it's a terrible make-up base. Not only I had a had time applying my foundation, I found halfway through my day my whole face was running.
I have normal skin, slightly oily on the T-zone and a very sensitive cheek area, where pores clog up right away, especially if using the wrong cream.
This product definitely wasn't for me.
I don't think it's worth the buzz... and I would suggest try a sample first!
so yeah.. not worth it
This moisturizer definitely makes your skin feel soft and supple but its major downfall was the smell. It was horrendous, and from the many reviews that I read, most people were really turned off by it (even though its listed as one of the best moisturizers). I thought that the terrible metallic smell would wear off after a while but it lasted for a few hours. Thank goodness for Sephora’s return policy because I would never use this moisturizer again. Plus it didn’t really help control my oily t-zone either.
I gave this cream a try after reading so many positive things about it and was sorely disappointed. And oh my goodness, it STINKS! I wrote to the company just to make sure I didn't get a bad batch as it's hard to stomach putting something on your face which smells so terrible.
