I really liked this product as it is so versatile. I use it to wash my face and as a body wash in the shower. Although I found it a little drying, it really made my skin feel clean and oil free. The price is a little high. However, it's effectiveness in keeping my skin oil free is worth the price.
I really like pHisoderm's body wash w/ aloe, vitamin E, and chamomile. I will definitely purchase this item again once I run out. I like the light fragrance. It lathers well in my shower poof. I love that it has salicylic acid for any random body zits. It rinses off completely and leaves behind no residue or film. The consistency is runny. I have to be very conscientious about applying the body wash to my poof so as not to go overboard. But once you're used to the flow out of the bottle, there are no problems.
I've been using pHisoderm Body Wash in Aloe, Vitamin E & Chamomile for about a week now. I really like the fresh and not-overpowering smell. It's light and I feel clean all over after using it in the shower. My skin feels soft without any signs of dryness or other irritations. I have sensitive skin so those qualities are a real plus. Compared to other body washes, it seems like great value for the price.
What I don't like about this product is the consistency. It reminds me somewhat of baby shampoo. It's a bit too runny and it doesn't lather as much as I'd like. On the other hand, the lack of lather is probably a good sign and means there are less artificial ingredients.
I'm going to sound like a broken record here... like many others; too runny, not enough lather and not as effective as other body washes I have used. I thought the smell was ok, but it reminded me of washing up liquid! I don't want to smell like I'm doing the dishes in the shower! The smell does not linger after rinsing, which is good, but if I'm using a sented body wash I want to really like the smell.
Over all, not terrible, but will not buy it when I run out.
This is going to sound familiar - but it is true for me: I'm not a fan of this body wash. It is too runny and doesn't lather very well. After using it, I didn't feel as clean as I usually do. I often use body wash to shave my legs and I didn't feel like this provided enough of a buffer against my razor (but it's not meant for that, I know...)
However, my husband has a true loofah (natural, not a plastic poof thing) on a stick that he uses as a back scrubber, and after a hard workout or 6 mile run he feels like he needs to scrub, and he likes this for his back so he is keeping it.
Overall, I like this product. It has a nice, clean smell that isn't overpowering and I can still add scented lotions or perfumes if I like, without feeling like the two scents won't mess well together. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean ! The only problem I have with this body wash is the consistency (like many others). It really needs to either be thicker or come in a bottle with a small "pour" cap, so you don't "lose" the wash so easily. I will definitely use this product again, as will recommend it to others that like a more "natural" and sensitive cleaner.
I love the smell, it's very light and fresh, I just got back from the cottage and used it. It was such a great feeling to use it after being stuck in the woods for days! I would definately buy this product again
I don't normally use scented products. However, I didn't find the scent to be overpowering, and it didn't linger after my shower. Normally I use a natural oatmeal-type body wash (like Aveeno), because they are gentle on the skin, but I found that this body wash was gentle, despite containing fragrance (which tends to mean chemicals.) and moisturizing. I agree with the other reviewers that the body wash comes gushing out of the bottle, the first time I used it I literally soaked my scrubbie by accident. I kind of liked it, but I don't think I would buy it again, primarily because it contains fragrance. (by fragrance I don't mean smell, I mean the ingredient 'fragrance' or 'parfum' in the ingredient list, which means there is a list of chemicals in there that aren't actually listed on the label, and I just like to try avoid things like that.) If they could make the body wash fragrance-free like the facial cleanser, or if they made regular and fragrance-free versions like some companies/products, I would seriously consider it though.
My husband tried this body wash as well and found that it didn't get him as clean as our regular stuff (he works in construction, and he's got lots of dirty man-hobbies as well) but he found the smell refreshing.
Just received this several days ago and I've been using it every day. Here's the break down:
Pros:
smells good, contains chamomile, aloe, vitamin E (whether or not these additives are thoroughly
absorbed into the skin has been questioned before...). Regardless, it lathers really well and still
leaves my skin feeling soft without having to moisturize afterwards.
Cons: runny consistency... other than that I can't think of anymore criticisms.
Overall it's a good product, but I feel that I would run out of it quickly.
I wasn't a big fan of this body wash. First off I didn't like the smell at all. I'm used to fruity smelling body washes, and this one was too chemically smelling for me. Secondly it was too runny and unlike some others, I found it didn't lather very well. I use a loofah, but it still didn't get as soapy as I liked. After using it, I just didn't feel as clean as I usually do. I did like that it didn't dry out my skin at all though, and found my legs feeling to be more moisturized than normal. Despite that though, I don't think I would purchase this body wash in the future.
