Maybe I'm not giving a fair review because I haven't tried it long enough, but there's a reason for that. It tastes awful!!! I don't mean to taste it, of course, but sometimes the cleanser slips into my mouth while I'm washing and I don't even notice it with other products, but Phisoderm is the worst. It's also incredibly liquid-y and milky, so invariably, it will end up on my lips at some point and I can't get rid of the taste of it. Not worth the trouble for me. However, my skin felt fine and possibly even good.

Really clears up skin of acne and keeps skin soft.

Ugh! This stuff is awful. It may "clean" my skin, but it also dries it out completely (and I have oily skin). It smells terrible, and what's worse, the formula is creamy but super watery and gets into my mouth and nose, so it also TASTES terrible. Finally, it irritates my eyes like crazy. I hate it.

I love the facial cleanser, I use it as a make-up remover and it's very effective. It leave my skin feeling moisterized and fresh. I usually don't need to apply a moisterizer afterwards. I would definately recommend it

pHisoderm Daily Facial Cleanser for normal to dry skin did not cut it for me. Yes, it left my skin soft and clean, but it felt far too moisturized for my liking. I wish the wash had salicylic acid (like the body wash). I wish the wash had some kind of lather. The smell is not lovely or invigorating, but its not offensive either. I plan to keep this product in my shower but I won't be using it for my face. B/c of its moisturizing properties, it has a place as a shave gel/cream!

As a member of the Product Review Club, I received a free sample of pHisoderm Daily Facial Cleanser for Dry - Normal Skin. I am a creature of habit and it's not easy changing my face cleansing routine but I've been using this product for the past week and I like it a lot. It's rich, creamy, almost non-irritating and has a mild inoffensive fragrance. Fortunately, the fragrance has come a long way from the medicinal smelling pHisoderm cleanser I used as a teen. Except for my eye make-up, it does a great job of cleaning my face. I also like the pump dispenser.

Unfortunately, this product doesn't do an effective job of removing my eye make-up, particularly my mascara and eyeliner. It also stung when I got it in my eyes. I've been spoiled by Cetaphil cleanser which does a great job of removing my eye make-up without stinging my eyes. I do like the consistency of the pHisoderm Daily Facial Cleanser better though. As for whether or not I will continue using it once my sample bottle is finished, the verdict is still out. It's much easier using one product than two and my regular routine seems to do double-duty.

has a twist cap so you can close it and not worry about spillage. very gentle, smooth, creamy. doesn't leave your skin with any residue or bad dryness. i have verry sensitive skin and acne and it did not irrate or make my acne flare up. i have not used it long enough to judge the effects it has on my acne or if it will clog my pores but i would be very surprised if it did. it does not have alcohol in it which doesn't agree with my skin. so overall id say excellent product especially for sensitive or acne prone skin.

I just can't get over the feeling that I'm rubbing lotion onto my face! And in this hot muggy weather I don't want to over-moisturize! I have a light moisturizer with SPF that I would rather use than counting on my cleanser to moisturize for me, but if I use both I feel like I'm wearing a mask! Maybe I'll put it on the shelf till the cold, dry days of winter, when I will need the extra moisture.

It seems to rinse away ok, but, like other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn't take off eye makeup very well!

I don't like that it doesn't lather at all. I know it's probably a gimick and doesn't really have anything to do with a products effectivness, but I've been conditioned and it's a hard habit to break! :)

Over all, not the best facial cleanser I've used.

Myself and my two teenage daughters (16 and 19) used this cleaner for the past week. All of us really like the way it cleans without the harshness of some other cleaners we've used. The scent is very nice, not overpowering; it cleans without lather, which doesn't bother us at all. It's very easy on the skin and lets it feeling very soft and moisturized afterward. We will keeping using Phisoderm facial cleaner and will certainly recommend it to our friends and family. It's really great for people with sensitive skin.

Although I normally go for a 3-in-1 cleanser (cleanser, toner, exfoliator), I did enjoy this facial cleanser. It didn't irritate my skin at all, and it felt sort of like i was cleaning my face with lotion, but it did a good job of taking off my makeup. I didn't really feel like I was getting a good cleanse because it had no lather or exfoliation, but that could be just a mental thing, because my skin seemed to enjoy it. Normally after I wash my face, my skin gets super dry about five minutes later if I don't moisturize. I didn't moisturize as an experiment with this one, and while i did experience my normal tightness it was not nearly so bad as normal, and my skin felt less tight and dry than if I just wash with water.
I liked the big bottle and the pump because it made me feel like I didn't have to use a tiny bit to conserve it. I would take this camping/travelling with me, although in a smaller travel bottle, because it doesn't dry my skin out - I could just take this cleanser and my tinted facial moisturizer/sunscreen, which is a very light lotion, and be fine.
