Not bad. My skin isn't normal or dry, it's more combination, but it still cleaned really well and felt soft afterwards. For the price of about $12.99 getting a HUGE honking bottle is a real bonus.

It's more of a cream-based cleanser, so if you have dry or normal skin this would work fabulously for you.

I liked the subtle scent, and a little goes a long way, so there's no need to waste any product

I received this as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Overall I'd give it a rating of just alright.

It's definitely gentle on my skin and it comes in a nice big bottle, which is a plus, but it has a weird smell that I didn't care for at all. The best way for me to descirbe it as what West Indian people call "fresh". It's not a good thing, but I don't know what the Canadian equivalent would be...maybe gamey? Let's just say that in the Caribbean raw chicken smells "fresh" until you squeeze some lemon juice on it. Know what I mean? Although the smell was unpleasant it didn't linger and wouldn't stop me from using the cleanser again.

Anyway, apart from the smell the experience of using the cleanser was pretty good. It doesn't lather too much, which is good and when I used first thing in the morning my face felt clean but not tight or dry. However when I used it to wash off my makeup, my face didn't feel clean and I had to re-wash it twice before it got off all my makeup. Not a good thing but I don't know too many cleansers that can get your face deep down clean in one shot so I won't hold that against it.

After using it all weekend, I did notice a couple of tiny pimples coming out on my face but it is my time of the month so I can't say for sure this cleanser caused it.

pHisoderm has never really been on my radar so I was glad to have a chance to test out some of their products. I think of it as being more natural and gentle and targeted to people with sensitive skin and when I'm choosing skincare products I tend to look more for heavy artillery. My skin is very oily and riddled with clogged pores and blackheads and is not sensitive at all so I wouldn't say this is ideal for me, but if you're looking for something gentle and non-drying that just gets your face clean this is the cleanser for you.

I got this from pHisoderm as part of a promotion they are doing with us for the Product Review Club. It was nice to be able to test it myself! Though my skin is oily and this is for dry - normal skin, I find it quite nice as a second cleanser. I use this in the mornings before I put on my makeup and find it works well for that. It is very similar to cetaphil, (but with a slightly thicker consistency) so if you like that I suspect you will love this gentle cleanser. Even though I have oily skin, it has not made me break out and I have not had any reactions.

The bottle is large and will last for quite awhile. I like the pump dispenser, which is great in the shower.

My one beef is that it is not good for taking off eye makeup. I tried using it to get off my non-waterproof mascara and it made me a raccoon. Either use an eye makeup remover separately, or use something else for removing your makeup and use this in the mornings like I do.

I will keep using it as a morning cleanser.
