Pillsbury Moist Yellow Cake Mix is great when you don't have time to bake from scratch. I buy these at Walmart and they are around $1.25 per box. They bake up beautifully and you can add other things to the batter. I sometimes add chocolate chips or M&M;pieces. It tastes great.
