100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
I am a pipestone soaps fangirl. The soap is amazing quality, it smells wonderfully and works great. It also lasts for a good amount of time considering the price. I exclusively use pipestone soaps in my house. Love supporting small businesses :)
Hi there,
So, I've been hesitating posting this review, not because I have any issues with the product, but because I'm afraid that once word gets out, she won't be able to keep up with the demand and there won't be any supply left for me! I'm kidding... a little.
What I wanted to share with you today is an independent store in northern Alberta called Pipestone Soaps. Sacha Staffanson is the creator and founder. She makes premium handcrafted soaps from scratch. She makes each batch in a mold, and once it is dry, she cuts the loaf into bars that are 4.5-5oz in size. These bars are sold for about $6 each, and worth every penny!
Sacha's soaps are so rich and luxurious. They look beautiful, smell amazing, provide a creamy lather and make my skin very happy. There are no phthalates, parabens, sodium laurel sulphate or petrochemicals in her soaps. As stated on her Facebook page, her soaps are made from sustainable premium raw Ingredients such as coconut oil, olive oil, caster oil, palm oil, mango butter, cocoa butter, shea butter, goats milk, silk., etc...
As availability of her beautiful bars is dependent on what has been made recently, Sacha keeps an updated post of both those soaps which are currently available as well as those on the cure rack which are going to be available soon. She also has a scent description note in case you need a little help selecting. I can tell you have I have purchased many different scents from her, and each one is my favourite!
Pipestone Soaps are available on bigcartel as well as directly from Sacha via her Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/PipestoneSoaps)
For now, these wonderful soaps are only being shipped within Canada, and the shipping price depends on the weight and distance. The price can add up, but Sacha only charges what Canada Post charges her.
I would say you should wait and consider making a purchase, but really that is only because I am being selfish and want to keep these gems to myself. In reality you should run to her site and order boxes of Pipestone Soaps because once you start using them you won't ever want to use a regular bar of soap again!
I hope you found this review helpful!
