Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is a very well done movie. The special effects are well done for that time, Johnny Depp is absolutely amazing and hot and sexy, Knightly is fairly good, and Orlando does a very good job of portraying a budding pirate with morals. I really enjoyed this movie, and the entire series actually.

I remember the first time I watched this I was so scared of the pirates that turned into skeletons in the moonlight! That also makes me think about how old this movie is, yet how much I love it to this day. I have watched this countless times and think it's a great movie for people of most ages. Might be a bit scary for super little kids, but there's nothing really that inappropriate in it (sword fights aside). Such a fun movie!

I'm a huge fan of the Pirates movies. I've seen this movie so many times and will stop and sit down to watch it if it's playing on TV no matter where we are in the movie. Action packed with loveable characters that know how to have a grand adventure. Captain Jack Sparrow is just hilarious and you can't help but love him.

Seen it in theaters, pretty good movie. These movies tend to be pretty funny and good over all.

The best of the bunch and the one that started the franchise. Captain Jack Sparrow, an eccentric rogue, arrives at Port Royal, and barely avoids going down with his ship. He saves the life of Elizabeth Swann the beautiful daughter of the governor. The Pearl's Captain Barbossa wants Elizabeth's doubloon necklace, and when she's kidnapped by the captain and his crew, Sparrow must rescue her and find out the truth behind the ship's curse.
