This kitchen scale is designed to be small, lightweight, and easy to clean, which definitely shows in its design. The plastic tray that comes with is easy to remove after the cleaning is done and then just give a quick wash. It's also able to weigh liquids, which is very valuable in a kitchen environment, and in my testing it did so accurately.

However, I would prefer that the plastic be upgraded, as in my opinion it had a cheap look, which detracted from the good points of this scale.

You can switch on the fly between various measurements, including lbs, mg, and fl. oz. It's very easy to use this scale for one thing, give the tub a quick rinse, and then re-use it for something else on a completely different measurement. It makes weighing ingredients easy and convenient, which is a great asset when baking or cooking.

One strange design choice I noticed is that the buttons on the scale are not separate from the actual scale itself. By that I mean pressing a button on the scale (to change measurements for example) applies that weight to the scale, throwing off your actual weight and requiring you to wait while the scale re-adjusts once your finger has been removed. It doesn't affect the final result, but it is annoying having to wait for the scale every time you need to adjust something. I also found that the feet of the scale were not perfectly flat, and that it would wobble very slightly when in use.

Overall, this lightweight scale did a good job of handling whatever kind of weighing I threw at it accurately. The design choices were not perfect, but it's still very small, light and easy to clean, three things that make a big difference in the kitchen.
