I received one as a gift for my oldest, and liked it so much I went and got another one for the second floor. It's easy to use, convenient and definitely is great for keeping down odours. It also really easy to clean, and doesn't take up very much room. I would definitely recommend this product

We bought this when we were expecting our first baby and it is still going strong with number three. Our house is tiny so odour control is important and these do the trick. I like that less expensive refills are available from other brands now.

I got this at my baby shower and honestly I love it ! it's really convenient because I don't have to hunt for a bag for the diapers, there's barely any smell from the diapers. I just wish the refills were a little cheaper but other than that it's a fantastic product!

I have really enjoyed having this diaper genie in my sons nursery for the past 11 months. There was absolutely no smell for the first 6 months since he was not yet eating solid food.
Now that he is, there is some smell that lingers after I put a diaper in it but I think that this is to be expected. I found the refills really easy to use too.

A great product to have with a baby. Its not and eye sore of a garbage can and it keeps the smell at bay. Id recommend to any parent.

This is such a great product, it works wonderfully at keeping odors out of my house. I love the carbon filters, they help to eliminate odors. It's easy to replace the refills and they are so easy to take out.

This is great! I'm on my second baby and everyone always says that you learn you don't need all the fancy things like this by the time you're on your second but whatever, I don't want to double bag up diapers and tie them in a knot and carry them downstairs to my garbage. This is clean looking and holds in the smell, it's easy and quick and I like it, for $40 really, it's worth it to me.

it's insanely hard for me to believe that the same people who made this, made the Diaper Genie II because that is the most worthless product out there. Unless you enjoy getting poop on your hand while you struggle to open the lid, shove (with force) the diaper down a hole all the while trying to make sure your baby doesn't fall to it's death. This is great, press the footpetal and the lid opens and the crocodile thing inside opens up and you drop the diaper in.

My daughter even likes to help out, I tell her "Make this disappear" and she loves it.

I could not live without it. You don't have to worry about smelling poopy diapers and so convenient and easy to use. Be sure to get the elite, it has the foot press, so much easier when your hands are full. Refills can be a bit expensive but every so often you can get them on sale at Walmart or Babies R Us.

The diaper genie elite is great. I would not want to be without it. It opens using a foot pedal so your hands are free to deal with poopy babies! It keeps the smell contained, I can't smell anything when I'm near it. Definitely a must for a new mom!
