I have mixed reviews regarding this diaper genie. I loved it at first however since using it for over a year I would probably choose a different brand of diaper pail in the future.

My issues are:
- It does not keep the "smells" contained very well (even with changing the air freshener regularly),
- Ours has jammed a few times after changing the bags.

I bought this when I was pregnant with my first 6 years ago. I am currently expecting number 3 and still have it. We used it all the time but the liners can get to be expensive. I found it kept the odors out of the baby room and was able to hold quite a few diapers.

Dispendieux car il faut toujours acheter des sacs et qui ne neutralise pas du tout les odeurs.

Easy to "pack" away the diaper so you don't see it !

There is no smell whatsoever if you regularly clean & change the carbon filter

Only negative is that I truly wish it would hold a bit more diapers !! I feel like I am ALWAYS changing the bag out !

I have thee kids, twins and a younger baby. When the twins were still in diapers I thought a diaper genie was a silly thing to have, poopy diapers were poopy diapers and when the room started smelling I'd just get rid of the garbage.

With my youngest I sleep in his room with him (long story). And ugh, the pool smell was ridiculous. Not noticeable when you just walk in and out of the room, but definitely gross when you try to sleep there.

The diaper genie was one of the best buys ever! It really hold the smell, there is no poopy smell at all in the room! Easy to use, you only need one hand (and a foot), easy to get the diapers out without getting your hands dirty, even though the refills are a bit expensive it's totally worth it!

I only purchased a diaper genie after about months of having my baby, and i think this is a great product that really help eliminate the odour of diapers.i feel like alot of diapers can fit in there but the bigger the diaper size gets less and less can fit and now i feel like im switching bags constantly. I would recommend this to someone who has a newborn up to months maybe. And i wish the refill bags werent so expensive.

I loved the diaper genie until it broke!!!! It is an amazing pail keeps smells out and holds alot of diapers, however me and my husband were not pleased when the inside flaps broke and we had to push the diapers down. We tried to return it but we couldn't we still have it in the baby's room, still functions but we have to change the refill often because it smells

I live in an apartment so a diaper genie was a necessity. Unless I wanted to go in and out of the building to take the dirty diapers to the dumpster, which with a baby, isn't realistic! I do believe that the diaper genie is effective. It's convenient, and hides the smell completely. I don't think it was the best quality. Mine broke by the time my kid was 2, and I never used it roughly. It's very expensive to keep buying the refills, too, but it was definitely a life saver, convenience-wise. If I lived in a house, I would say a diaper genie isn't necessary, though.
