I normally wear the competitors’ tampons…and occasionally dabble in the Playtex tampon field.

The applicators for these tampons are a soft plastic, and really easy to insert in less than 10 seconds.

I do not like that the string is really flimsy (thin) and seems a bit shorter than what I am used to.

They have not leaked while using them for the day and first heavy night flow – always an important thing!

Both the applicator and applicator package are plastic, which do make insertion comfortable…but are also not the best for an eco-friendly lifestyle.

So overall, I am not impressed enough to change over to Playtex – but they are definitely great for ladies who are more sensitive while inserting tampons due to the soft plastic.
