This product didn't work for me. It did not stick well, cold sore came out under the patch and the sore leaked on sides of patch, totaly disgusting. Tried three times and always got same results.

It pretty much just covers the cold sore and helps protect if from the elements. Doesn't seem to help it heal faster or prevent it from spreading. I have used this and Abreva, with the same results...dissappointing. The only thing that truly worked is prescription Valtrex. I had it prescribed my by dentist and loved it so much, my family doctor gave my an extended presciption. Always have some on hand. Pretty much stops a cold sore in it's tracks.

Patches are pricey, but they work. They help heal and conceal, however can become loose while eating and for this reason I would not eat in public with them on. When applied properly, the patches make cold sores virtually unseen.

I liked the product because it covered my cold sore, and cut down on healing time. I found the patch winkled easily and shifted. For the price you don't want to go through a few a day.

I have used this on numerous occasions and I do like it. I find it difficult to apply the patch without having any wrinkles in it. When I am able to apply it smoothly it does a great job at disguising the cold sore and aids in the healing.

I tried Polysporin cold sore healing patch and although I found it did somewhat work, it was quite uncomfortable to keep on for the allotted amount of time recommended. I would probably use it again but only if I really had to and if it was on sale. The price isnt worth the awkward glue look on your lip.

I have tried this product when I'm having problems with cold sores when the weather is getting cold again . It helped some with the amount of time I had them . The only thing was they are too expensive for the amount of product you get .

Hi, so I have been getting cold sores since I was a little girl, about 5 or 6. Most likely I got it from another kid in school or from a family member. When I was younger I obviously didn't care about it as much, but now its like the end of the world! Its hard to go out and talk to people when you have a massive "zit" like thing on your face!!! Its embarrassing and so uncomfortable. Not only does it look gross, it is also very painful.

Two nights ago before bed I felt a cold sore coming on, but I seemed to be too late becuase the bubble was already appearing. I used 100% natural tea tree oil, as I did in the past, to hopefully make it go away by morning. Ofcourse when I woke up in the morning nothing helped and I had a massive cold sore on my upper lip. I have tried so many things for cold sores such as ice, ginger, and even garlic!!! I decided to give the patches another try, because in the past it seemed to work. It helped with my healing time and made it a little more comfortable to talk and laugh even in public.

Today I purchased another pack of the patches, and even though they are super expesiive I am also hoping that it is as effective as the last time. Right now I have a massive outbreak of 3 cold sores on my upper lip and I have applied 3 patches!!!! Thats nuts!!! At the moment it is throbbing, but I think that is a good thing! I think it is healing quicker even though it is VERY visible. I would not recommend putting any make up over it until u see the little bubbles start to disappear. If you use make up on it, the makeup can actually make the patch not as "stick-able" and can get under the patch and make your cold sore even worse!!!! So please, for your sake dont cover it up, unless you HAVE to!! The patches do not make your cold sore less visible unless the bubbles are gone and you get at it fast enough before it surfaces.

I really hope the product is effective as the last time!!!!

I am kind of in between with this product but I would give it a second go I think cold soars need to do there own thing but something that helps would be amazing
