Works well and fast!

I bought this product with hopes that I could hide my cold sore on my skin close to my upper lip and to get rid of it fast. It went away faster than normal, but the patch doesn't stick very well so it was obvious when I had it on (even when I applied make-up on top of it). It's effective but it's very costly. I still have a lot of strips left but I will probably use this as my last resort since it's expensive. Overall, quality and effectiveness was great, but the price and look of it was mehh.

best product idea ever

OMG! HIDE, CONCEAL, AND HEAL A COLD SORE...equal the BEST IDEA EVER! My husband gets cold sores frequently. We have tried tons of over the counter and home remedies. I think that I've found the holy grail for cold sore treatments. I'm ready to tell the world and shout it from all the rooftops!

Useful

This product is useful to keep my cold soremoist during the night. It hides it effectively under lipstick or lip gloss.
I will definetly continue using it.

I don't get cold sores often but when I do I love these patches. I work closely with patients and these are nice to keep the cold sores covered while near others. I can't say they heal quicker but I like how they keep me covered and less obvious.

Helps to ride out the embarrassing week of a cold sore

I get cold soreswhen I am stressed out. I tried these when I had to go to a Congress and had a huge cold sore. It worked well to conceal the old site but you can still see that it's there. It's less embarassing than the the huge ouzing lump on my lip! Although, I didn't find that it lessened the time I had the cold sore.

I had, for a brief moment forgot that I even had a cold sore when I passed the mirror. While they are effective in medicating the cold sore it also helps to conceal the redness of them. These little dots stick to your lip and I like putting it on before bed so it can stay on all night! During the day the corners can lift when you drink and eat. I do keep these in my arsenal kit when I feel the dreaded tingle of one coming. Follow the instructions on how to put them on so you don't stick them to your fingers.

When it works it works well

As anyone that suffers with cold sores knows, they are embarrassing and unattractive. Usually I get them seasonally, and usually always in the same location on my top lip. This is when I like using this product as I am able to apply it correctly and it hides the cold sore and sticks fairly well. However when I get a cold sore on the side in the crack of my lips, the product doesn't work, will not stick, comes off with any moisture or eating and essentially makes the whole scenario more frustrating and embarrassing.

one of my favourites. one of the easiest ways to get rid of cold sores. it doesn't hurt to put them on. they keep your closure hidden. I love this product. it's so easy to use. and it makes you feel better.

Maybe I’m not using them correctly

I have purchased these twice for use on orofacial cold sores. I applied the patches as directed. Unfortunately, they did not work well. They came off extremely easily (minimal sweat/oil despite swabbing the area and ensuring it was dry first) and I went through the package of 20 in a few days. I think I will stick with prescription topical aycyclovir as I find it to be much more effective.

Fast healing

What can I say instead of go out and try it! for medium size cold sores the patches they worked great and quick within a day and a half it was gone. Love it
