I regularly get cold sores from stress on my lips. I've tried other products, but even after applying a cream, it doesn't prevent your lip from cracking or salty/spicy food from burning the you know what out of it! I love the Polysporin Cold Sore Healing Patch because it provides a full layer of protection over your cold sore to fend off salt and other painful things. I've also never had my cold sore split of bleed with the patch on it, it keeps it really moisturized and helps it heal quickly too.

I have used this product for quite some time now and find it to be great. It is very effective and i would definitely receommend it!

As for the reported problems with covering it further with makeup, just don't. It's virtually invisible on your skin and you simply don't need to.Pricey product, but I found it to be well worth the money.

I have always been a huge polysporin fan as having 2 small children it is one product that is always a necessity in my house. I have been an avid cold sore sufferer since I was in my teens. I normally purchase the lip ointments for cold sores and as much as they work, I have always hated the fact they sit like an ointment on the lips and if you lick your lips or anything it either moves around or develops a soft whitish look that cannot be covered up. I love the fact that this product not only works, but gives you the cold sore protection you need and still allows you to put makeup on top of it to camouflage the cold sore. Cold sores are not a huge issue for me, and by that I mean I don't get them too often. The last cold sore I did get was last month and a friend gave me a Cold sore patch to try out. I wore it while I slept and it did seem to speed up the healing process. Cold sores suck so any product that can speed up the process of it going away I would recommend to anyone!

Like all other Polyspoin products this one is just as fabulous, it is fast acting, effective and reasonably priced. highly recommend the healing cold sore patch.

To be honest I haven't tried the Polysporin cold sore patch yet, I was a little skeptical to try it. I find it to be a little pricy but after reading all the great reviews on it, I am willing to give it a try.I usually get 4 to 5 during the winter so thanks for all the positive reviews it really helps!

I get cold sores a few times a year and I love this product. It works well and not noticeable. Would highly recommend it!
