my daughter gets cold sores seasonally on her chin, these have become extremely unsightly when left untreated. we have used other products to lesson the effect, but these have still left her feeling that her chin is an eye sore. We then picked up some polysporin cold sore healing patches and she loves these, she's able to disguise her cold sore, she can catch it early, stop it in it's tracks and it heals quickly, so she is less traumatized by the cold sore.

This was a life saver! Who gets a cold sore two days before their wedding smack dab in the middle of her top lip?! This girl does! After panic disappeared, I purchased these patched and was so very glad I did. I was able to disguise the hideous cold sore with this patch, do my make up and lipstick in a way, that when I look at pictures, you do not notice the cold sore.
The patch stayed in during drinking and eating. Didn't peel up at all even though I was talking and laughing all night.

I carry and use this product all the time. It does speed the healing time. I love the fact that it covers the sore so I can't lick it or touch it. Helps from spreading it.

I get frequent cold sores, especially in the Fall/Winter and I have tried many products. It is especially frustrating because I work in customer service and I have to be always talking to people. I don't like the white residue that is left behind that people can see from other brands of medication. I had purchased this product about a year ago for my niece to use while staying at our house. It was definately worth the money!
The gel noticably helped the cold sore heal quicker than normal (as she gets them several times a year.) It also proivded a barrier from her fingers constantly touching it.
We didn't try out the makeup coverage as she is too young for makeup, so I can't comment on that aspect, but the patch material did feel like a smooth canvace to accept something like foundation or lipstick.
I can also comment that she complained less. I truely believe it made the experience less painful and bothersom for her.
I will forsure buy this in the future, even for myself if needed.

At first i was really excited to try this product. I suffer from cold sores on a regular basis and im always looking for a new product that works great. I don't know if maybe i didnt apply it properly but when i needed to take it off it peeled the skin off my lip which made my lip bleed and then scab. Im hoping that maybe i did something incorrectly because I have hears that it works well.
