Great product! Easy to use and very effective. Doesn't sting like Abreva and works much better. Love that you just put it on and then can apply makeup over top. No one even notices it's there. Only downfall is it is a bit on the pricy side.
I used these patches last winter for the first time from Shoppers as soon as I started feeling the that a cold sore was coming on. The patches blend in well and are well camouflaged. I used only 5 of the 15 patches on the cold sore. The cold sore basically didn't reach full size and was suppressed. The cold sore was gone within the week! I will buy the product again. However, it is quite expensive, so I keep an eye out for sales.
I have a reoccurring problem with cold sores.. Ive tried many products and this is now of my favourite.! When used at first tingle or the night of it seems to be slept away. when combed with a topical ream it works wonders :)
I've had cold sores every winter, and nothing works better than this product ! With winter time showing up pretty soon I plan on buying this product in advance ;)
Works better when the cold sore is not too close to the inside of the lip. It gets wet and starts to peel. Other than that they work ok. I just find you can't put it on when it starts to bubble cause it will peel away the skin when you change it. But it does relieve the pan.
This product is great. I put it on overnight night and within 2 days my cold sore was gone. Will definitely purchase this product again.
My 12 year old son is one who gets cold sores on a regular basis. I find that the Polysporin Cold Sore Healing Patches work best for him as they keep the cold sore covered-which is great for him who doesnt like people looking at his cold sores, and me- knowing less germs and dirt will be around the sore) They aren't very expensive, and his cold sores are usually gone within 3 days of using the patches. They also stick well, and are comfortable for him to wear. This is the only product we use now to treat his cold sores.
The idea is awesome. to heal and conseal is prefect and polysporin is an excellent product
