Finally something that actually works. Hides it very well. I have suffered with cold sores for many years and have always been embarrassed. BEST thing for cold sores! And, I have tried multiple products!

Great product. Finally there is something to conceal the 'ugly' phase of the cold sore. As for the reported problems with covering it further with makeup, just don't. It's virtually invisible on your skin and you simply don't need to.

I have struggled with cold sores my entire life, its frustrating. I can sometimes go months without them and then I will get 4 or so in a row. I have found these patches work wonders, but only if you modify the instructions a little bit..
First, I never put them on while the sore is still a blister like the instructions recommend. I think the sore needs to breathe too much at this point and covering it just makes it spread or become more irritated. Instead I use Zilacton when I first feel the tingling and while its a blister (Zilacton kills the blister fast, it only takes a day or so)

Then I use the patch, but only while I'm out during the day. I take it off at night so that it can breathe similar to wearing a bandaid. I also use less of them this way and its more cost efficient.

They clear up to a tiny mark in 3 days doing this without the painful cracking. The patch can be totally invisible on the skin, and it hides the mark really well. There isn't any need to wear make on top the patch hides the sore so well.
Removing them has never been an issue for me, I just make kissy faces while gently pulling the skin around it taught, and it always seems to just lift right off painlessly for me. No bleeding lips like I have read..

My only gripe is, on occasion I stretch one side of the patch while applying and it appears wrinkled on my skin and they are too expensive to remove without using.

This is an amazing product! Works fast and is effortless :) results are almost immediate and painless.

By far the best core sore treatment I have EVER used! I have been getting them since I was little and always went for either the home remedies or the cheapest thing I could get. this is worth it, prices varies from store to store sometimes by $5 and over, either way WELL WORTH EVERY SINGEL PENNY!

I get cold sores regularly, which is too regularly if you ask me. They are annoying, itchy, sometimes painful and they spread easily. When I saw the Polysporin Cold Sore Healing Patch, I figured I should give it a shot. I was not expecting much. Even medication from my Doctor doesn't really do much. Well, the Polysporin Cold Sore Healing Patch is the best thing I've experienced so far! It minimizes the duration of your cold sore! Mine usually linger for about a week and after using this product, I was down to 3 days. The patch is also hardly noticeable, which is nice as I try to avoid people looking at the cold sore area.

I love how it hides the cold sore so well when applied. It 's almost invisible. takes about 3 days to go away. pretty effective, does it's job. i would give it a higher rating if it was not as pricey.

This product made my sore go away in 2 days (after apply at least 3 times a day). I think what people have to keep in mind is that sores appear on parts that are "used" most often, and thus ave to apply the ointment more than often. However this product works and I would probably buy again :)

Polysporin patch is so unobtrusive that we forget that we have one on the lip .But the best of plolysporin is that makes us forget our cold sore by it efficacy.
