This is my go-to when I can't find Abreeva. It works well and keep the cold sore protected from open air so it heals better but not faster. It does allow for better movement though, without getting the area wet.

I really liked this because I was able to hide my cold sore with makeup. Normally I would not be able to put makeup on it, because it is not good to do that. However, this patch protected my coldsore well enough for me to use concealer and foundation. I don't recommend keeping it on for a long time though, I know it says about 8 hours, but I found it best to change the patch every 3 hours or so. That way your coldsore will not be too dry or itchy.

This is a good product but it's a bit tricky to use and actually get the best results, i.e. the ones advertised. For me it only works to suppress the breakout if i apply it before the cold sore is even visible on the surface, have to catch it when you first notice the skin starts itching a bit. And then the same sticky has to remain in place for as long as possible, you're not supposed to remove it. So if the blister is towards the corner of the mouth it is difficult to have it remain in place. So far success rate is about 50%, very much dependent on where the sore is and when you apply the patch.

It does hold lipstick and foundation/corrector on, but not the creamy varieties of lipstick, and you need to touch up every few hours.

The price is good, there are quite a few in the package, i just wish i would remember to carry it along at all times.

Works very well. I have used these patches a few times now and even though they don't stop the cold sore I do find that the healing time is shorter when I use them.

Although these patches are effective and speeding up healing time, there are a lot of things that could be improved upon. They recommend that you not take the patch off until it falls off, but mine was coming off after not even a day. I usually end up using about four or five patches per cold sore the break. It is true that they do a very good job of hiding the sores ( that is until they start wrinkling up along your own wrinkle lines. ) ultimately though, they protect the skin so it reduces pain and camouflages them well. I will continue to buy them

It healed up my cold sore really fast. Stayed on as long as I do not wear lipstick. Down size is the price was expensive for the amount you get. And it was noticeable to wear.

this product does help conceal the cold sore but it is still noticeable. it did help it from spreading and shorten the outbreak. i would like them to be cheaper and maybe be able to pick a size. overalla very good product.

Hubby suffers from cold sores. He has tried lots of different methods. He doesn't like the creams as they are messy and come off easily. The patch works great as it stays on and he can continue with his day knowing that the healing power is still there. We keep stock in our house just in case.

Work with public and had a cold sore. Pharmacy suggested I use the coldsore patch.
was a little leary but I needed to get rid of the sore.
felt tingle shortly after I applied it...felt it working.
was impressed..after 2 patches the sore shrank quickly.
Covered the ugliness well and was hardly noticeable.

I have tried these patches a few times and saw amazing results in no time. I really enjoy the fact that the patch also prevents from involuntarily share your cold sore. However if the patch get humide it won't stay on very long and you don't want to waist a patch since they are a little expensive.
