Good idea but..

I think this is a good idea but they never stay on long enough to know if it is helping. They curl up and you end up playing with them. Not convinced.

Doesn't stay on or heal

I've had cold sores for years.
A few OTC treatments have been effective, along with prescription Valtrex.
I really wanted these topical patches to work, but they didn't.
They don't stay on long, I use them as a short term barrier, but need to replace them so often.
But the bigger issue, is that polyesporin is an antibiotic, while the virus that causes cold sores needs an antiviral.

If you have a cold sore on your mouth they keep falling off.

I think this product is a wonderful idea however if you have a cold sore close to the inside of your mouth they just peel off.
They are very expensive and so you end up paying a lot of money with the hopes that you’re going to be able to go out in public and not have your cold sore on full display but that just doesn’t happen.

Did nothing for me

I get cold sores at least 3 times a year I have tried so many products and nothing was working for me I saw this product in the pharmacy so I decided to give it a try. Nope nothing. If anything, I feel it made it bleed and spread more. It may work for others but not for me

Didn't live up to its advertising

The patches didn't adhere well at all, they curled, peeled and fell off after only a couple of hours. I followed the directions but they didn't work for me. Very expensive and not worth it.

Wa wa

As all cold soar products seem to go wa wa . What a waste as nothing really effective . It about the same as all other products for cold soars over priced and a waste of money!

Meh

To many people this product may work for them. But in my experiences, it hasn’t worked for me. I didn’t find that it would stay into place. Personally, this isn’t my go to product

fell off within hours of application

I thought these would be great to cover my gross weeping coldsore for a full day of work but by midmorning it was hanging off looking worse than the coldsore. decided to try it at night to help prevent scabbing, worked slightly better, it stayed on but didn't prevent weeping. not worth the money.

I wouldn't buy this again

I've tried this product twice just to give it a fair chance. I have to be honest and say they didn't work well for me. I find them really hard to apply and I found they have made my cold sores spread more I believe it's to tight to the sore therefore spreading the virus. I find the the other creams on the market work way better for me.

Not good

This product was a disappointment it doesnt stay on it does not work you could swallow it if your not paying attention only thing I liked was that it covers up the voldsore nicely
