The patch covers well, but didn't stay in place as well as I'd hoped. The cold sore was partially on my lip so the patch ended just at the inside of my lip and the moisture made it unstick faster than expected, so i used more than i should have.
It did cover/mask the cold sore well and helped contain it.
I didn't notice a difference in the healing time however.
But over a good protective product.

Expensive, but for the amount of times I get cold sores in a year, it's worth it. It works so well

I just love polysporin and this product worked fast and without a lot of embarrassment.

Just used this and it worked! Also helps because it covers the sore so nothing gets in it while it heals

Have used polysporin for my cold sores in the past and still have it in my medicine cabinet at all times. Have tried others in the past but for the last few years have boughten only polysporin. It works much better than the others, and it feels more medicinal. Easy enough to use and no burning sensation.

Love this stuff. I always keep a tube in my medicine cabinet.

I just have a cold sore :(....I hate it...it's taking so long to heal. I went in store and as soon as I saw the Polysporin I was sold to it...I always have close a tube....So after I use this....what I can say ...you stitch this and a lot easier, I could kiss my kids and not be afraid to pass it on them...you should know it's hard to not kiss them, I could eat and drink a lot easier and also is less visible. Once I use it, I felt no more pain and burning....and it didn't grow so big as usual. I use it in the night also and I forgot that I had the cold sore, no more pain....but after 6 or 7 hours, the pain starts again...it's time to change it.
What I didn't love so much, by the end, when is like an open wound...is scary to take out the patch and it could hurt a little bit.
But in the end is definitely better then another solutions, like a cream.

I've tried these from the first time I ever had a cold sore despite the fact that other people recommended another product. I went with my gut. Polysporin is usually great on cuts so I told myself let's give it a try.. totally worth it. I paid a little more than I would have liked but now I don't even hesitate. First there the obvious benefit of the patch creating a barrier that contains that little (or big) sore. Even esthetically it's just so much more discreet then having it out there. I mean... its not invisible... but a cold sore with some sort of cream on it is even worse so. Effectiveness is very polypsporin quality. My cold sore was gone in about 5 days which is significant because I've seen several people with cold sores up to 10 days. Plus with the fact it shields it's less of a self concious 5 days and I'm not worried about it spreading to other areas of my face or lips. And you can still eat and drink and it's stays on. For all these great qualities I recommend these patches
I always have a pack in my purse just in case. :)

These are great, they work perfectly, & i just love them so much!

this was quite the surprise..very effective and not too obvious to use. would definitely buy again
