I think this product does all it says it does, with one exception. While it definitely masks the cold sore, you can still see the circle of the patch. I don't wear foundation, so maybe for heavy makeup users, it would be concealed. So what I do is wear it from the second I get home from work, to the second I have to leave for work/go out in public. I use these patches in addition to oral medication, and it has helped speed up the initial development process the most. Probably the best perk, is that my cold sores don't seem to be as swollen as they usually are, nor as red.

First sign of a cold sore use this product right away! It will heal faster and disappear quicker than if you wait until the cold sore has developed fully. This is the only product my family uses!

I find very few products do anything for me. I get cold sores whenever I'm feeling run down or am sick. I have even tried the infamous blue pills. In my experience this product does the best work!

I use Polysporin cold sore healing patches as soon as the tingling starts! They really help with the healing process; they don't seem to last as long, which is great! I also love how they cover up and protect the cold sore. The only negative: sometimes the patch will come loose when eating. I also find them a bit expensive for the quantity in the package, but really it's worth it to get rid of the cold sore faster!

I have used another cold sore medication for a few years. It was always effective but I wanted something that had the extra protection that a patch would provide, so the last time I had a cold sore I purchased the Polysporin patch. The patch worked well, and I loved the additional protection I get form a patch. I always worry about passing the virus onto my children. A bonus about having the patch on, is that I ride motorcycles and when I have a cold sore and am riding in the sun and wind it can make a small cold sore turn into a HUGE deal. While I had the patch on it offered the added protection from the wind so it didn't make it worse

I bought the Cold Sore Polysporin Healing patches for my Husband a few months ago. They worked very well at speeding the healing process. He would only wear them at home of course! He said they felt a little "funny" on - but well worth the little bit on inconvenience. They made a big difference in getting rid of his cold sore a lot more quickly than without.

Great product, speeds up the recovery of my cold sore. Easy to apply also, and I enjoy using it. I enjoy using Polysporin products in general, good quality and long lasting.
